And, now, on to the updates:

There have been a number of phone calls and emails in regards to my health. In one of them the writer wanted to know what was going to become of the street work. Interesting question.

When a farmer wants to grow a crop, there is much preparation and labor before he ever gets to see a harvest. It is no different with our mission.

I love a passage of Scripture in John 4:31-38, especially verse 38:

"I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour,

other men laboured, and ye are intered into their labours."

Kinda interesting what Jesus was teaching here. I have always looked at myself and BAFM as the "other man" ministry. Kind of quietly going about our mission and planting the Seed of the Word of God in to the hands of our troops and sure enough the "Lord of the harvest" will have some men come along and reap where we have sown, over 1,300,000 Seeds now that Jesus knows where each one is at and He will take care of them.

To answer the question in regards to the street work, we have the Gulf Coast Baptist Church at Eglin Air Force Base right now collating 2,000 packets for the mission to the Eglin area. Our God will see to it that the work goes on. And, our office in Jesup, GA just sent out 10 cases of "homemade cookies and fudge" baked by the ladies of Northside Baptist Church.

While Patrick is being treated in Michigan for cancer, the mission is still moving forward.

Nine of the cookie cases went in to the war zone in Afghanistan and one case to the Marine that we have worked with for the last year in Afghanistan. Our ladies out of the church that have partnered with us in the mission of "pulling" understand the importance of compassion.

Our next shipment of "homemade goodies" will be March 18th. This shipment will be in time for the "Resurrection season". The nine cases that went into Afghanistan were loaded with gospel Seeds and books of John with Thank You for our FREEDOM cards. The cases of goodies that will go out for the resurrection season will have hundreds of tracts having to do with the resurrection.

If you are in South Georgia, in our area and you want to bake some goodies for our troops, all you have to do is press the "reply" button on your computer screen and let me know what you're thinking and we will help you set it up. I will be in the Ann Arbor area for 8 weeks, and if you would want your church to get involved in something of this nature, it can be worked out real quick. Just push the "reply" button and let me know what you're thinking and we can work with you.

As for my health, I started radiation treatments this past week. I have been here for a month, but there were other health problems that had to be taken care of first.

Today, I'm very thankful that as a 19-year-old, I had no idea what I was doing, but I went down and joined the U.S. Air Force. Some of the guys on my street were going to Vietnam and some more were joining different branches of the service and my neighbor across the street went and joined the Air Force so I went and joined the Air Force. Within 18 months, I was in Vietnam.

I'm 62 now and have cancer. Sounds horrible but being a Vietnam veteran and testing positive for Agent Orange, there will be some benefits that come out of it all. One will be, if I die of this cancer, Judy will get my benefits and be insured the rest of her life. The benefit that is very exciting is if the VA will give me 100% disability then I will get a Military ID card that states I'm 100% disabled and that card will get me access in to the military bases in America. The good news also is that card will make it possible for me to get in to the commissaries. This could end up being a very lucrative area to share the Gospel packets right on a military complex. Please add this prayer request to your list. I believe that disability card will open many doors to the military that we have never had. Thank you for praying.

All I will say about the radiation is at this hospital they tie your feet down to the table. For 20 minutes, you will not move other than breathing. This huge x-ray machine does circles around you and makes all kinds of weird noises, but I did not feel a thing. I have got 39 more days to go, so we will see how it all goes. Thanks for praying.

Just one interesting thought. Last Saturday, I was in a local grocery store looking at the different soups, and a man walked up to me from Willis Baptist Church and made it clear to me that, "Brother Hayes we are praying for you daily." While we were talking, a lady from from Faith Baptist Church in Chelsea walked up to the two of us, and she said, "Brother Patrick our church prayed for you this past Wednesday night." The church in Chelsea is an hour away from the church in Willis, and it is exciting to be a Christian and to be loved by so many people. Thanks to all of you for your prayers.

I was told that the VA has a nursing home in the hospital. It is very possible that the doors could open for us to minister there. Thank you for praying.

Dear Prayer Partners,

There has to be many folks praying for Patrick to have liberty at the VA to share our Gospel packets. Everyday that I go for the cancer treatments I have a roller type book bag. It holds about 45 to 50 of our packets. The floors in the VA Hospital are tile that is probably 1 foot squares. Going down these hall ways it can get folks attention with the clatter of the wheels on the cracks of the tile floor. I try to get some exercise while I'm there so we try to move pretty quick as we go about the hospital. Today I was minding my own business and moving along at a pretty good clip and I was fixin to pass the fellow in the hall way when all of a sudden he looks over his shoulder and steps out of the way and gets up against the side wall. Well as I pass him he made a few statements and laughed for a moment and I kept on movin and told the fellow I was in a hurry and did not want to be late for my appointment. As soon as turned the corner and had some wide open space to move our Lord wanted to know why I didn't stop and speak to this fellow. Here we go with one of the divine appointments that I thought was going to be just another person in the hospital. Well I pulled over to the side and pulled out a gospel packet to share with the man and he is fixin to step in to the elevator so my little speech that I usually give was cut off as I was handing the man a packet for being kind to me. As I was handing this man a packet he looks at it and says, Sir I already have one of them but will take this one. I'm the Hospital Chaplain and appreciate what your doing. I turned around to leave and he stepped off the elevator and walked down the hall way to get my attention and handed me his business card and invited me to come to his office. It could be that this could be a major door opening for us to be able to share the Gospel packets with some degree of liberty in side the hospital.

Please be in prayer for the Walker Bible Church in Lansing, MI. This church is located 1 mile from the headquarters of the Michigan National Guard. They have one drill meeting each month and it would be a good thing for our Saviour if we could get invited to one of those training weekends, please pray.

This Friday we will be leaving the area to drive to Fife Lake Baptist Church and Zion Baptist Church in Traverse City, MI. Would you please pray for our meetings that our Lord will have His way in each meeting. The church in Fife Lake will help us install 200 of our Thank You for our FREEDOM 8 by 10 pictures that we share with the churches. These folks love to partner with us every time we come to the area.

Pray that the roads will be free from snow and ice PLEASE.

Thanks to all that pray for our days in the VA Hospital. The Chaplain was very friendly and positive towards the packet. There will be others that the Gospel needs to be shared with.

Dear Prayer Partners,

I certainly thank all those that have prayed for us this past weekend. We were able to in two different churches in Michigan this past weekend and then preach in a Christian school before having to leave for our cancer treatment. All three services were well received and the one in the Christian school had some very good life changing decisions that were made.

You might find this to be interesting. My first appointment with a cancer doctor that would be the one who will supervise my treatments was a real Hindu from India. Well once she got through with her exam and talk with me I had a few minutes to share the gospel packet with her and she was kind and took the packet. Well today was to be my second appointment with her and in come's this fellow from China. We went through his exam and some small talk and then I went to share a gospel packet with him and the first thing out of his mouth is your doctor has passed you off to me and she gave me that same packet of material so I already have one. Well he began to tell be what he thought about it (very positive) and that he appreciated what I was doing. He is a Christian and when I offered him one that he could take home and give the other one back to the Hindu doctor he said to me, I never thought about that. That's a good idea. So he left me with one of those kind of smiles on his face that he was going to be able to share the gospel message with the Hindu doctor. I wish I could be there to see her response. Both of the doctors are professors and real doctors at the university of Michigan.

My Lord always seems to create circumstances for me where it is very easy to share the gospel message with folks. Today I was walking down the hall way and acted like I was lost so I could ask someone a question so it would be possible to share one of our gospel packets. You want believe this. The fellow that I stopped was a veteran and employee of the hospital but very interested in the packet. So once I got his ear and I knew he had been in the service for a while I reached to my book case that I carry into the hospital and out comes one of our 8 by 10 pictures of one of our schools with the big Thank You for our FREEDOM banner. The guy looks at the picture and it was from Sewell Valley Baptist Church. He looks at me and says that is where my grandmother lives and I went to school in that county. All I could say to the fellow is I hope you will take time and go through this packet because God is taking note of this conversation and He wants to save you. I had four or five of the picture frames in my case and God had be pull the one out that would get this mans attention real quick. It is exciting to know the Creator of this world is taking note of what your doing and He is in control.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we minister at the hospital. I had one of the office workers in the hospital come to me the other day after working hours and hands me a piece of paper with his home phone number on it and told me to call him at his home if there was anything he could help me with. The man loves our packets and appreciates what we have been doing for the Armed Forces. Only our Lord knows what is going to happen in this hospital before we leave, AMEN.

If you would please have your church pray for us that we could get a 100% disability card from the VA. If that was to happen that would open the door for us to be able to get in any base in America without any questions. Things would get exciting if we could start sharing the packets inside some of our bases. Please pray about this card.

I have seen some of these other translantions and now this new one in regards to Allah. The real problem is the printing organizations that are responsible for the printing and translanting. Bounce This Along

U.S. Postal service sent out a message to all letter carriers to put a sheet of Bounce in their uniform pockets to keep yellow-jackets away.
Use them all the time when playing baseball and soccer. I use it when I am working outside. It really works. The insects just veer around you.

All this time you've just been putting Bounce in the

dryer!

1. It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them. It also repels mice.

2. Spread sheets around foundation areas, or in trailers, or cars that are
sitting and it keeps mice from entering your vehicle.

3. It takes the odor out of books and photo albums that don't get opened too often.

4. It repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop when outdoors during mosquito season.

5.Eliminate static electricity from your television (or computer) screen.

6.Since Bounce is designed to help eliminate static cling, wipe your television screen with a used sheet of Bounce to keep dust from resettling.

7.Dissolve soap scum from shower doors. Clean with a sheet of Bounce to freshen the air in your home. Place an individual sheet of Bounce in a drawer or hang in the closet.

9. Put Bounce sheet in vacuum cleaner.

10.Prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through a sheet of
Bounce before beginning to sew.

11.Prevent musty suitcases. Place an individual sheet of Bounce inside empty luggage before storing to freshen the air in your car - Place a sheet of Bounce under the front seat.

17.Wipe up sawdust from drilling or sand papering. A used sheet of Bounce will collect sawdust like a taccloth.

18.Eliminate odors in dirty laundry. Place an individual sheet of Bounce at the bottom of a laundry bag or hamper.

19. Deodorize shoes or sneakers. Place a sheet of Bounce in your shoes or sneakers overnight.

20. Golfers put a Bounce sheet in their back pocket to keep the bees away.

21.Put a Bounce sheet in your sleeping bag and tent before folding and storing them. It will keep them smelling fresh.

22.Wet a Bounce sheet, hose down your car, and wipe love bugs off easily with the wet Bounce.

23.Put a sheet of Bounce in your suitcase when traveling, it will help keep mites or any other critters out of it. While you are at it, travel with several Bounce sheets and run them up and down your bed linen before getting into bed, it will cause all the critters already in your bed to run. Keep a sheet in your suitcase even after you have unpacked to protect your suitcases from bugs nesting in it.

Dear Prayer Partners

I'm sure everybody reading this email knows that we are now in Ann Arbor, MI stationed outside of the VA Hospital parked at the Detroit Greenfield RV Park 15 miles from the hospital. For the next few months our street work will be very limited other than the work our team is doing at Eglin AFB in Ft. Walton Beach. We are still holding meetings in churches on SM and SN and Wed. nights. Any schools that we can find to preach in during the afternoons we certainly will try to help them get involved with the writing and coloring.

For some of you that follow some of the strange stories that I share in regards to how our Lord shows me that He is in charge of what is happening you will find this to be very interesting. I would think that most evangelist and missionaries have meetings set for months ahead of time. I very seldom operate like that especially when I'm in Georgia. Anyways yesterday was one of those Sundays where I had a meeting for SN but did not have a meeting for SM so I figured I would find me a new church to attend and try and introduce our mission to a new pastor. I had a church that I picked out a few Saturdays ago and new where I was heading. Well our Lord had a different idea and one that was much better than what I had planned. I was driving to the new church that I thought I was going to when I seen a man walking down the highway in 20 degree weather and with a good Michigan wind blowing. Well Judy had a very rough night so I asked her to go ahead and stay in bed and try and get some sleep and I left for church by my self. That hasn't happened in a long time. Well I seen the hand writing of the Lord as I stopped to ask the man if he was walking for exercise or if he could use a ride. There's not to many folks walking for exercise in MI in 20 degree weather on Sunday mornings so he took me up on the ride. He was heading the opposite way I was going and seeing I did not make an appointment with the other church I went ahead and headed where he needed to be. You want believe this. I drove about 5 miles and as we approached his destination he asked me to drop him off in the parking lot of a independent Baptist Chruch. This man had no clue who I was and what I was doing. After droping him off and sharing the Gospel message with him come to find out he had been in the Marine Corps for 10 years and was very receptive to the Gospel message. As I was leaving the parking lot to head to the other church I kinda asked myself why was I going to the other church when here I'm sitting in the parking lot of a independent Baptist church. You all reading this will not believe this. Sunday School had already started so I was ushered in to a seat and what a Sunday school lesson. The Pastor's Sunday school lesson was great. After Sunday school the Pastor left the pulpit and came directly to me and introduced himself and asked me who I was. I just happened to have a couple of packets with me and one of our 6 minute videos that I was going to share with the Pastor after the morning service. He asked to see the packet and after 2 or 3 minutes and a few questiions in regards to who my friends are in Michigan and seeing that we had the same friends he looked at me and said I believe the Lord God has sent you to our church. He was speaking on the importance of being a good soldier in his morning service and felt the video would fit right in with his message. The man invited me to his pulpit and let me share the 6 minute video with his church and then he told the folks now after the service we can't let this brother leave us with out helping him with his expenses. We are now planning a meeting on when to go back and actually teach the folks in the church how to write the cards and color pictures for the troops.

I would never advice anybody to pick up hitchhikers but I have been doing it as long as I have own a car. I know you will find this hard to believe but I was driving in Miami FL a 49 Plymouth when I was 14 years old. Been driving for a while and been picking up human beings for a while. They have always had some interesting stories. How in the world did I end up at a brand new independent Baptist Church that I had never been to before and did not know the church was there until God had me pick up a man needing a ride to go to work and he just happened to work in the neighborhood where he got dropped off at this church.

It is interesting to pray in the morning and ask the Lord to take charge of things and see some of the events that take place. I thank all of you that pray for us and hope these kind of stories are helpful.

I know folks are praying. I walked into Fellowship Baptist Church in Clark Lake,MI last night and people walk up to me and make it clear, Brother Patrick I pray for you every day. What a blessing to be a born-again Christian.

This note recently came back in regards to boxes of home made cookies that the ladies baked in Jesup, GA. All goodies are mailed out with gospel tracts so the soldier gets some compassion with some compassionate Thank You for our FREEDOM cards and the gospel message. If you a pastor reading this or anyone that would like to bake cookies or candy for the troops and send it out from your church you sure could be a blessing to a soldier. I will be glad to give you the mailing address where they can be shipped.

It is 2 am here in Ann Arbor, MI. Was trying to catch up my mail and got to your email and typed a reply to you and got to the send button and lost signal and I'm thinking the mail never went through. Trying again and hopefully we will get through.

Your $300.00 gift towards the mission was a total surprise and very needed. I hope I have never "pour mouthed" to you because we try to avoid that as much as possible with our Troops. Thank you so much for the prayers and the financial sacrifice to help us with the packets. We are in the process right now of ordering another 10,000 packets for the troops and the $300.00 has come at a good time.

My brother I'm sure you know the bottom line with the cookie idea. I believe our troops are very important to Jesus Christ. Yes I know He loves the world and shed His precious blood for all men and women on this planet. I also know that He has made it very plan in the Scriptures with the parable of the seed and the sower that there are all types of soil that we will be sowing the Seed in. I'm certainly not a judge of the human race but I still remember 9/11. I was working a factory job at the time and the morning of 9/11 I had just got off a mid-night shift and was getting my hair cut at 8:30 am in Boiling Springs, NC. I was watching live video of what was going on that morning in our nation. The next few weeks I watched young men in our city standing at recruiting stations waiting to sign up to join the Armed Forces to help folks like me that could never defend myself if these people were actually get a land assault going. I believe when Jesus made it clear in His teaching that there is some "good" soil that will get saved. I do not understand it all but I do believe any young man that would give up a college education or a relationship with a girl friend and break it off give up a good trade and join up to help defend our nation knowing that this world has all kinds of crazy people that could blow up any of our cities at any time and he would be responsible to defend us to death there must be something good down in him. I know according to Genesis 12 that God will favor anybody that will favor the nation of Israel. He wants our men to hear the Truth and to read the Truth. The Gospel packet was created with the idea that any soldier that has any interest in trying to make peace with God he will have plenty of information to get him there. The cookies come from Jude 22, 23. The last Monday of this month there will be another shipment of home made stuff from South Georgia. I understand you will be gone but I think you have told me to mail everything to the same address and someone will know to open the boxes. I believe if I had a name to put with the box I would have a little more peace about the situation.

Please get back with me in regards to the mailing of goodies.

A Pastor called me the other day and wanted to know if I was OK because he had not seen any emails from me for a week or two.Kinda gave me the impression that there are folks that are reading the mail and are very concerned with the mission. Judy and I were very happy to see the year 2011 come to an end. From June to December it was nothing but hospital visit after hospital visit with everything from a new knee to a gallbladder being taken out in December. We were hoping to get away from hospitals for a while. Our trip to Michigan last week did something to me in that when we arrived I was wiped out like I had never been before. We started the radiation treatments this past Tuesday with "gold markers" that they go inside and place inside the prostate. I was already sick and I mentioned how I felt to the doctor but this was suppose to be a procedure that would be very simple. The next three days I was in the hospital with the prostate infected. I certainly appreciate the prayers of all those that have put us on your prayer list. Every church that we have returned to has made it very clear that this mission is prayed for daily, what a tremendous encouragement. For some of you that make comments in regards to some of the strange things that happen to me you will laugh at this one. The last time I was admitted to the VA Hospital here at Ann Arbor I made a commit to one of the Doctors that was doing some paper work in regards to my Cancer situation about how fast they were getting things done and how efficient they were being. This doctor made the statement to me that I was a special character and he wanted to help me. I had just tried to share a Gospel packet with him that he would not receive. Not so sure what he meant by the "special character" statement but they did things done quickly. Well I got my bubble busted real good this time. After I had the surgery with the markers being planted I went on home and the next day had to call the hospital because I was no longer functioning to good. Told them the problem and was told to come in right now. You all want believe this. Got to the emergency room and set in the emergence room with about 10-12 other people and my name was called with in minutes. Got to see a nurse and after a brief examination she puts me in a wheel chair and rolled me into the hallway. Made a phone call or two and within minutes she said you are being admitted to the hospital and they have a room ready for you. I started thinking about the words of the doctor a few months a go that "your a special character" and I was really thinking that something in going on here to get the hospital so quick. Sure enough here comes this guy and up we go to the fifth floor and a room that only had one bed, wow I must really be a special character. Within minutes these people have me some new clothes to wear and checking out how my feet look. I have never had nurses check out my heals and toes to see if they looked normal, by now I knew I was really a "special character". It didn't take long for the bubble to get busted. I was in that quite room watching the snow come down relaxing and another wheel chair comes pulling up to the door with a woman pushing the wheel chair. You want believe it they had 2 Hayes that were admitted about the same time. The only reason I got the "special character" treatment is because they were confused. I had taken the other Hayes's room and within minutes they were shipping be back to an emergency room situation where I was not a special character. Once we got in to a room and everybody and there brother was apologizing to me I mentioned to one of the doctors that the very reason I had come to Ann Arbor VA was I had confidence in the way they did things. Sure did not get off to good of a start. Once all those involved new that I was a Christian and every thing was fine we had some good visits with those that could understand english.

Please pray that I will get whatever it is needed to get my body going again. We are hoping to take the certificates that have been recently awarded to us into the churches that have been writing the cards and coloring the pictures. I'm sure the Devil hates this work. We have hundreds of children that are serving the Lord and ministering to Him and the soldiers through the means of coloring and writing. After 10 years on the streets now we are seeing material that is coming in to the office in Jesup that reflects folks that have taken the writing as a personal ministry. I know our God will direct each one exactly where He wants them. If it will be the Lord's will we hope to be able to find some new schools and churches in this area while doing the Cancer treatments. If you personally know of churches and schools within 100 miles North,South, East or West of Ann Arbor, MI we would love to try and contact them and maybe we could be a blessing to them. Please send the names and if you have contact information and the time to send it that would be a blessing.

We hope that each one reading this has a wonderful week. I do thank each one that has sent get well cards and have made it clear that they are praying in regards to the health situation.

I need to mention the hospital has been a blessing. As a Veteran I'm pretty sure there will not a hospital bill when we get done. The last surgery Judy had in Homestead, FL for the gall bladder attack was $34,000.00 for one night in the hospital and for the surgery. Make sure you clean your gall bladder out once in a while.

Had an exciting weekend and thanks to all of you that keep this mission in your prayers. Preached SM in Milledgeville, Ga and found out that one of the church members that is over 70 heads up the Nursing Home ministry in the church and has a crew of folks at the nursing home that absolutely love coloring pictures for the Gospel packets and for the troops. The leader mentioned to me that one of those that is doing the coloring is 95 years old. The church was a tremendous blessing. SN we were over in a place called Lizella, GA and met some wonderful folks there that we had shared our burden with three or four years ago. Interesting how this church was found. I was in the Macon area at a Staples Office store trying to get a bid on some printing and started sharing the Gospel with the lady that was trying to help me and come to find out her dad was a preacher and one thing let to another and we were able to get a meeting in a church through a lady working at the Staples. Got home from Lizella about midnight and had to meet our team member that is heading up the work at Elgin AFB at 8 am. Headed out for Elgin at 3:30 am and transferred over 40,000 pieces of Gospel literature for the Gulf Coast Baptist Church to collate for the street work in Ft. Walton Beach. This is very encouraging to have another church now doing some of the collating. Please continue to pray for the work at Eglin AFB. We collated tonight here in Jesup and will collate again on Tuesday night and then Thursday morning start our trip to Michigan.

Would you please be in prayer for the meeting at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in New Concord, OH and the Gospel Baptist Church in Little Hocking, OH. Will be speaking in both of them this coming Sunday and then the Christian School on Monday morning. Please if your would pray for these services.

I covet your prayers for the cancer treatments starting Wed. a week from now in Ann Arbor, MI.

Please pray if the Lord be please to open more doors in the state of Michigan to share our burden for the troops. Not sure how I will fill after the cancer treatments each day five days a week for 6 to 8 weeks. We hope to be in schools during the week and then on the weekends also. Please pray.

Another thing I would ask you to please pray about. Jan. 9th is a court hearing in our city in regards to the man that cheating our mission out of $6,000.00. There are other folks that lost money to this man and one in particular that knows how to work the court system. She has a hearing before a judge this 9th to try and get her money back. She will also use our evidence with hopes that the judge will make a move to get our money back. Would you please pray in regards to this matter. This would be truly an act of the Lord if we were able to get this money back from this man.

The day is going to come when I will have some help in my office that we will send pictures of good things that is going on here in Jesup with our building. I want to thank all those that have sent some Christmas money to bless us during this season. We have been able to pay off the 10,000 jackets for the packets. They were delivered yesterday and we have already had folks come out to get some to help start the collating process. A big thanks to all those who have helped with this bill.

For those who have called and emailed me in regards to Judy I thank you for your concern about her health. We had the knee surgery going there for a little while and then some type of infection and then the Bell's Palsy thing hit her and then the hospital in Jesup GA tried to tell us all the pain she was having in her stomach and back was some type of bacterial infection in her colon and just the prescription for that visit was $790.00. For that one night in there hospital and all the test that they ran to try and figure our her pain she was having was $7,400.00 for one night and they did run some test on her. It is very easy to see why this nation is set up for socialism. Just five days later heading to the Naval Base in Key West we had the same pain again and this time back in another hospital and this type we are taking out her gall bladder. The year 2011 will not be forgotten for a while.

One of our partner churches has just ordered 2,000 packets for there military work and the work at there Wal-Mart. This is a dream come true. Churches ordering material for there area. What is really good this church will do all the collating. They will be collating there own tracts and pictures and thank you for our FREEDOM cards into the packets. This is been one of my dreams to have a local church in an area where there is a Wal Mart and a military base that will take charge of the area and get there own tracts into the hands of our troops from that local church. Please pray for the folks at the Gulf Coast Baptist Church at Eglin Air Force Base. Pray the Lord will give a church and Pastor at every major base across America that we can partner with and get the Good News in to the hands of these troops.

I will try to be short for both our benefits.

We had a great day for our Saviour at the Wall Mart outside our Army Base. I know folks are praying for this mission because folks actually email me and tell me they are praying but I also know God is moving when we have days like today. The Wal Mart that we were at today the city requires us to have a license or permit to work on the side walk and distribute anything for a charity. I did not forget to get the license just did not have the time to get to the city people that can make it happen. I went to proper official to see if they could make it happen the day before I was scheduled to be on the side walk and the party in charge said it was not going to happen and could not be on the street without the permit. O Boy. The even was scheduled way back in March and you only get to have 2 events a year at this particular Wal Mart so this was a tuff pill to swallow. The work in Key West was very important and was the only time to get to it and the Wal Mart was important also just difficult trying to get it all done according to everybodies rules. Seeing I was on Wal Mart property and they had it scheduled way back in March I prayed and asked my Father if He was for it then we would go for it. So 10:00 am this moring we set up out tables and at 6:30 pm we broke them down and had about 350 folks most of whom are Army take the Gospel packets. Thank you for praying. Two police officers came out and both spoke with me to see how I was doing and no one asked to see my permit.

Pray now for all the Seed that went out and ask the Lord to save souls. There is some preacher in God's plan that is going to have some great days ahead as the Holy Ghost works in the hearts and minds of our troops. I believe our Lord has me doing what we are doing because He is going to have a great harvest of souls at His perfect timing. Just keep praying that doors will keep opening.

Please pray this week. Meeting in Jachsonville Sunday night and then deed a meeting this Wed. night. Pray we will find a church to work with in Jacksonville that could take charge of the street work and hopefully the Lord will give us a Wal Mart in Jacksonville near the Naval Base. Would you pray we will have a good day on Monday morning on the streets at the Naval base.

We will need some big prayer miracles with the Navy in Key West,Fl. The Key West Baptist Temple will be the church that we will be able to work through here. The church has a new Pastor and very interested in the military. Pastor Scott Hester has been in Evangelism for the last 20 years and has now taken the pastorate of the church. Our Armed Forces Can be reached in this area and will require much patience. The Pastor has been able to get a pass to visit on the base so this could be an excellent tool for our Saviour.

Last Thursday when we left the First Baptist Church of South West Broward to head to the Naval Base in Key West we had another surprise with Judy's Health. She had a real gall bladder attack while out on the highway. Last week we had her in the Jesup GA hospital with pains in the stomach and chest and she was kept over night and given medicine for a problem called H-Pylori. She had been taken the medicine for that problem and now have about the same pain again while out on the highway between Miami and Key West. Our Lord is so good to us in that we were about 5 miles from a hospital that is just 4 years old that was built in Homestead,FL. Once she was admitted within 2 hours her gall bladder was gone. I know all my health food friends would have never had done this but at least her pain is gone. Gall stones the size of a quarter. Back on the road Friday morning with the blessing of the doctor. Hope to get her back in Jesup by this Friday so she can rest

Would you please pray for meetings this Wed. night in Margate FL and the Christian school on Thursday morning. This Sat. we will be at the Wal-Mart in Hinesville GA. Please pray these Wal-Marts will remain open for our Saviour.

Sunday will be preaching in Jacksonville at Victory Baptist Church. Please pray for that service.

I know I ask for prayer a bunch because I believe we can move our Father by simply bringing our request before Him. The more folks a preacher has asking the more He just might move. We will leave for Hollywood on Wed morning and speak Wed. night in Hollywood and then in a Christian school on Thursday morning at 8 a.m. and then travel to Key West Naval Base to see what we can get done there on Friday and Saturday. The Pastor at the Key West Baptist Temple is new like two months new is only going to be able to give me enough time to share a testimony about our mission. If enough folks are praying for him may be we will have enough time to recruit some more writers. Sunday afternoon will drive back to Hollywood area for another church service. Tuesday Judy is having some upper and lower test where you get to drink that white stuff like chalk. She is 63 years old and has never had to do it so it will be good for her. I have no idea how many times I have had those examines, fun fun fun.

Please pray for safety on the roads to Key West and back.

Had a pretty good day on the streets in savannah with about 160 Army soldiers receiving the Gospel packets. Thank you for praying about workers to come out and help with the collating. Had 12 folks come out to help and collated about 500 packets. Had a good time of fellowship and will be looking forward to building a team of folks that will be able to keep me going on the streets and the Wal-Marts.

Do remember the Dec. 17th we will be at the Wal-Mart in Hinesville all day. Lookin forward to seeing what God is going to do.

We certainly covet your prayers for the work this coming week. Monday morning will be in the streets in Savannah and just pray the streets will remain open and we will have the liberty to get the Gospel message into the hnads of our troops. Monday night we have invited two churches to come out and help collate more gospel packets for the street work. Tuesday we leave for First Baptist Church of West Hollywood, Fl to preach this Wed. night. Thursday we will drive to Key West, Fl to present our work at the Key West Baptist Temple. The new Pastor has been there for two months and wants to get a military work started at the Key West Naval Base. Please pray he will have liberty to use our Gospel packets on the Naval Base. This Pastor has already done the home work to get on the base and visit with his church members that live on the base. This could be a wonderful opportunity to get the Gospel message in to the hands of more troops.

The month of December will be over before we even know it and we will be headed towards the VA hospital in Ann Arbor.

Some have asked about the song book that we started a year ago. Please be patient with me. We have one page that is missing and is very important to me. I have contacted a proof reader to read the last article of the song book and then hopefully Bearing Precious Seed in Milford will be able to print the song book.

For those that have asked about Judy. She spent 24 hours in the Jesup hospital to have the proper test run on her heart. Our God is so awesome in the way He comes along our side to help us. She had a doctor that is a professor at Emery University that is a university for doctors. This lady is a teacher of doctors. She makes her way to Jesup twice a month and we happened to hit the time when she was here. Very sharp and was able to put her finger on Judy's problem real quick. She will be taking some special medicine for the next two weeks with hopes that it will clear up her problem. For all of you that pray for us I appreciate it and can see that many do pray for this mission.

Thank you for praying in regards to the collating on Monday night. We are still in need of the packet jackets. These are ordered in groups of 10,000. Once we get them collated we will be at the 89,000 mark. Keep praying that we will reach every member of our Armed Forces with the Gospel message. It can be done especially seeing Jesus told us to preach the Gospel to every creature.

Very encouraging to hear from you and hope things are well.

November 14th 5 cases went out from Jesup, GA. Northside Baptist Church is the church that put the cookies together. This is the church that my wife and I attend for now. We are very seldom here because of the travels to the schools and bases where we minister. Any type of letter or correspondence to them will be a blessing. There Pastor left the church 14 months ago and they are still without a permanent Pastor. They are very very selective about who well come in and preach to them. They have been very helpful with the cookie missions and my building that I just purchased. I was able to buy a 100' by 200' lot from the church to place my new building on. They have been helpful to me as a mission agency trying to reach the military for Christ.

I will try to send you some pictures of the schools where we have been able to take the certificate that you sent me. We have installed the schools name in the certificate and helps the principal and teacher feel like they are part of my mission which is exactly what I need them to feel. You have blessed BAFM and hundreds of young American Christian students in our schools.

Thank you for blessing our mission with the certificate. I know I have already thank you and do not want to wear that out but this past week I was able to present that certificate in 6 different chapel services from Ft. Walton Beach, FL up to Citronelle, AL. The schools went from one averaging 300 to the last one with 15 students. What a great week I have been able to have encouraging our young Christian students to continue with the ministering to our troops with the writing and coloring.

This past Monday there was 6 cases of home made cookies sent to you from the ladies of Northside Baptist Church. Actually there were 12 cases but 6 went to a group of Marines that just came home that also sent us a certificate and an American flag. It the same with them that it has been with you all. We have been sending that group of Marines material since 2003. My son was a Marine back in those days and we were sending him Bibles and he was getting them to his fellow Marines.

Anyways it 9pm here Saturday night and I hope your sleeping right now. The Lord has been waking me up early in the morning on Sundays to pray for your service's that God's power will be upon the speakers and men will be saved and backslider's will be getting right with the Lord.

Please keep us in your prayers. We are making some head way here with our building and finding new meetings before we start the cancer treatments in Ann Arbor. We will be preaching this coming Wed night in Hollywood, FL and then Sunday in Key West Baptist Temple. The brother is Key West is lookin to start a military ministry in his church. Sometimes it just seems as if the Lord tells you to call a church it is exactly what the Pastor has been praying about.

Had some warm weather today so was able to start on the outside of the building with paint. In the middle of the painting Judy called me and told me she was feeling real bad. Ever since the Bell's Palsy event she has not been 100%. Today things got real bad and had to take her to the hospital and they admitted her for checks on her heart. I started this email out with our plans to be in South Florida next week but the truth is we are not going anywhere if she has some severe problems with her heart. Please keep her in your prayers tonight that the doctor's will find something wrong if there is something wrong. If there is something wrong pray they will find it. The last few weeks we have been very busy and it will be this way until we get to Michigan. With the knee surgery and then the Bell's Palsy and hanging around with me she just might need a break.

I often times have dreams about what can take place out there if you push the wrong "button". Lot's of men in our military that are hurting and go off on a person in a second if pushed the wrong way. It is Wed. night here in Jesup and we are running out of time before i have to leave for Ann Arbor, MI. Next week I promised Judy that I would get her down to Key West to see her day who is 88 years old now and she has not seen him for a few years. We will be speaking in the First Baptist Church of South West Broward. Some of you might start wondering Patrick is speaking in a "First Baptist Church" must be a Southern Baptist but it is not. King James folks to the bone and support our mission. Please pray we could find a few other churches that might help us in the South Florida area. We have our building sitting in the back yard now and much work needs to be done. Waiting for the right temperature to get new out side sheeting that has been put up painted. For all our northern friends you will probably laugh at me but it was 32 degrees here for the last couple of mornings. Little to cold to put paint on walls. Thursday morning I will be a painter and we will see what we can get done. The rooms still need to be framed in and a bathroom has to be installed. Lot's of outside painting to do and the inside of the building needs to be painted. If there are any young men reading this article and you are looking for a trade to get in to that you could take care of your family pretty well you might want to go to school for heating and air conditioning man. I had to pay $415.00 for a company to come out to our building to we wire our air conditioning units which simply meant they had to rewire the thermostats. It took them about 4 hours. There was no parts involved just labor. It was a little better than $100.00 per hour and PRAISE THE LORD we do have heat and air. The folks that come out to collate will be comfortable. For all that have helped with the building project we certainly thank you.

Now the Wal-Mart situation. December 17 will be our next Wal-Mart.

Our greatest need is material and the labors to come out and help with the collating.

Our second greatest need and I will ask you to please pray about this one is workers that will come out and minister in front of the Wal-Mart. It might sound very simple but to tell you the truth we have had workers that have come out in the past and have never helped us since. I do not pay anybody that comes out so there is no money involved. We do provide lunch for those that are out there during the lunch hour. The standing on concrete and talking to folks that often do not acknowledge you I guess is a problem to some folks. There is no body patting anybody on the back and may be I need to learn to do some of that. The Wal-Marts are a tremendous opportunity to listen to some folks that have some very real issues. I probably have 90% of the people that actually stop and talk with me take the Gospel packet. The Gospel Seed is getting planted in a very unusual place. The last Saturday we were able to minister out there we had about 300 folks take the packets. The converts into 5,100 "little preachers" that is inside of Ft. Stewart just a preachin there little hearts out. The thing that is so beautiful is there not concerned with the soldiers color, what they have been doin, if they are reading the preacher the Holy Ghost will take care of there doings. There is so much these "little preachers" can get done in side a base that I will never get done. Please continue to the packets in your prayers.

Please make the Wal-Marts a matter of your prayers. I have talked with many of you that have made it very clear to me that you pray for this mission on a daily bases and we thank you. Please add the Wal-Mart and labors that will help to your list. It is a tremendous opportunity for all of us to lift up the name of Jesus among Americans. Many parents of or troops come for different reasons and are very receptive to what we are doing and take the Gospel. Many are reading that would have never taken time to read Gospel literature. The way we are trying to bless there sons and daughters they appreciate it and I believe God wants them saved and many are getting saved and when we get to Heaven we will see the work that God has done through His Word and a very simple servant.

I would like to thank all those that pray daily for this work. Today is the Lord's Day and had two meetings today one in Glennville, GA and the other in Savannah, GA. All my meetings now are centered around trying to get folks on board with the writing of the "Thank You for our FREEDOM" cards. We had some new folks get on board today and we appreciate you praying that our Lord will continue to burden hearts of Christians to take advantage of this form of ministry. Writing short notes of appreciation to our troops to be installed in the military packets.

Also there is much work to do on the building. One end of the building was sided with new board that has to be coated with a primer coat of paint and then finished with exterior paint. One end of the building is being used to collate but the other end needs to have our offices framed in. Still needs to be cleaned and the ceiling tiles replaced that was broken out in the transportation. I still need to install a bathroom for our workers and the one lady that works part time for the mission. I'm sure we will run out of time before I leave for Michigan. Please pray we will have some folks that would volunteer to help with some of this labor. We still need a good carpenter that could help with the hand rails that must be installed in the steps going up to the doors of the building. Many odds and ends that will need to be done.

This Monday night we will have folks come out to help repair material that needs to be fixed before it can go to the streets. Please pray as folks come to work that we will all pay attention to details when these packets are collated.

I want to thank all those who took time to pray for our mission to the local Wal-Mart today. The weather was actually beautiful all day. Started ministering about 10:00a.m. and finished up at 7 pm. I did not have any help show up to work at the table with me. Actually Wal-Mart will allow the charity to have both doors to work where they can raise money for there charity. I could have had both doors and two folks at each door. That did not happen so all BAFM had was one person working the Wal-Mart. You all that prayed for good weather I appreciate it and would ask you to please pray for labors that can stand at a table and offer the Gospel packets to our troops as they pass by the table. Today we had a little over 300 folks take the packets. Many are very moved that someone would give them a Bible with all the little tracts that go along with it. Not sure what the Lord is trying to do with me but I had a number of folks come through from Ohio. Many relatives visiting there loved ones for the holidays. Many parents that appreciate our mission sharing the Gospel message with there sons that are in the Army. Thank you for praying we would have a good day and we did. The 300 packets converts in to almost 5,000 little preachers that has gone in to Ft. Stewart Army Base and into the city of Hinesville. Our Lord will have a harvest of souls as His Word (Seed) is planted. Pray the Lord of the Harvest will have a great one here at Ft. Stewart.

A little humor in a way. Today was the first time I have seen a dancing Salvation Army bell ringer in front of a Wal-Mart. The Salvation Army was out today at both doors of the Wal-Mart and the one at the other end was a dancein "bell ringer". This guy put me to shame with his zeal to raise money for the Salvation Army. I started at 10:00 am and the Salvation Army showed up at 11 am and was there when I left at 7 am. The man was dancin at 11 when he started and was dancin when I pulled out at 7. It would be amazing to see the man in a pulpit.

We will have the Wal-Mart again in Dec of this year. Please be praying that we will be able to get the material collated and not only collated but have the help to reach the folks at Ft.Stewart with the Gospel.

Some might not understand the main purpose of why we go to the Wal-Mart and the importance.

#1 That we will extol the name of Jesus Christ amongst our Troops. Psalms 145:1

#2 We are only allowed two (2) times a year here at this Wal-Mart to minister to the Veterans.

I have been told that there are 40,000 troops stationed here and there is only one Wal-mart to shop at. Thousands of troops shop here.

Today is very cloudy and tomorrow is a good chance of rain in this area. Please pray our Lord will control the rain for us and He will favor our righteous cause. Psalm 35:27 "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant."

Today is Wednesday and I'm in GA. Last night we had a great night with a group of Baptist that came about 40 miles to help collate the packets for the mission this Saturday. Today will travel to NC to be with my family for the day of Thanksgiving. I wonder how many will really take out there Bibles and spend 5 minutes as a family reading the Word of God and praying as familes for this nation of ours on Thanksgiving day. Please take time with the Lord tomorrow as a family and read the Word of God together and please pray for our troops.

Friday will drive back for the mission at the Wal-Mart in Hinesville. Today it is raining and we need the rain and we need rain still on Saturday just not at the Wal-Mart so please pray that we can have some good weather to do what we do best at the Wal-Marts. Saturday from 10:00 am till the day is over or we are out of material. Your prayers and support have been a blessing to this preacher. For the last two night we have been in business for our Saviour. Our first night to collate was with Norhtside Baptist Church in Jesup, GA. Tonight we had a Pastor in Hortense, GA come with is wife and a few of his members to help collate material for the Wal-Mart in Hinesville, GA this Saturday. These folks drove about 40 miles to come over for this mission. This is what we are hoping will happen with some of the local churches in the area. If the work can be spread out among other churches in the area my home church will be able to do some of the odds and ends that need to be done in this type of mission.

I'm asking for you to pray this Saturday for the mission at Wal-Mart that we will be ministering at. The last time we were at this Wal Mart we had 1,100 people take a gospel packet to the glory of our Saviour. Please pray we will have a very busy day for our Lord.

Dear Prayer Partners,

I want to thank all those that pray for this mission even when you have no idea where I'm at and what we are up to. This past week we were able to speak to about 400 students in 6 different chapel services from Ft. Walton Beach, FL all the way up to Citronella, AL. We had chapel services of 90 students down to 15. With the cancer news that came to us during the last few months our Lord blessed us with two Certificate of Appreciation certificates from the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps. Both certificates came from groups in Afghanistan.We have taken the certificates and had our printers install the schools name in the to the certificate along with our name that was already there. The certificates have been a blessing to the student bodies where young Christians have been writing cards and coloring pictures. Some of the schools take great pride in helping us share the Gospel message with compassion.

Your prayers have been a tremendous blessing this past week. Drove many miles and moved very quickly in some of the schools to get the job done. For you all that know me and have had to put up with my preaching you will get a kick out of this. My very first meeting this past week started with about ninety 4 year old kindergarten to second grade students. Can you see me speaking to that many kindergartners. On Friday we had 2 schools to speak in that were 70 miles apart from each other and school let out for both of them at noon. Some of you all know about all the stuff I carry with me and to get to the second school on Friday morning before they closed for the day was interesting. There are certain times in my life where I know folks are praying even when I do not ask for prayer.

This Thanksgiving week will be a very busy one. Please pray for me. We have a Wall-Mart to do this coming Saturday where Ft. Stewart Army Base is located. At the writing of this email we do not have any material to take to the Wal-Mart. Material will need to be collated before Wednesday. There is no heat in the building yet where we will be doing the collating. My workers here at Northside Baptist sent out 12 cases of homemade cookies just last week and now I will need help with the collating of about 800 to 1000 packets for the work in front of the Hinesville Wal-Mart. Please pray the building will come together real soon. Outside walls need to be blasted to get the old paint off and some new walls need to be primed. Lots of painting and all the skirting around the bottom has to be installed. A bathroom has to be installed and office's have to be built. If you live in South Georgia and you have built office space in buildings please give me a call if you have the time to give to our mission to help put it in order.

At BAFM we have much to be thankful for. This is our 10th year on the streets and it seems as if this could be our big year to get greater things done for our Saviour. Today will be an exciting day here in Jesup, GA at BAFM headquarters. Our workers know that I have a dream to get the Word of God in to the hands of every member of our Armed Forces. It has been slowing goin this past Summer and Fall but it looks as if things might change a bit. Today we are "movin in". Never did think about it much until this morning but it is Veterans Day and a good day to start another level of our mission.

A big thanks to all those that have been praying and please continue to pray. We were back on the streets at one of our bases in the area this week and our Lord still has the doors open to me. Next week we have much painting and clean up to do but I have meetings in the Ft. Walton Beach area and the Mobile area so not much gonna happen with the building. This coming week I will be speaking in 3 schools. One has a couple hundred students and one has 15. Believe this or not the one with 15 has done some beautiful work for the gospel packets that no body else has done. If there is any missionary reading this what ever you do don't ever skip over the "little guys" they just might be small because they run a real tight ship. Any ways please be praying if your would that we will be a blessing to the students and the teachers.

We have now hired some help for the office. If she knows how to send pictures through the computer you will get some pictures of the building being moved down the highway and now in the back yard.

Please continue to pray for the Wal Marts that these doors will remain open. The Wal Mart that we work at here in our area is the only Wal Mart that I have ever worked at that requires me to get a permit from the city to be serving the community in front of the store. This week when I went to get the permit the lady asked me what I would be doing on the sidewalk to raise the money and I told her we might give away home made cookies from the ladies in the church. "O you can't do that without a permit from the Health Department" says the boss lady. So off I go to the boss lady at the Health Department and she tells me I have go to the Department of Agriculture if I'm gonna give away food to the public. So now I'm getting an attitude and off I go back to the first boss lady at the city permit place and she is all confused because she can't understand how the other departments is so confused. If you would please pray for my attitude.

I'm not sure about you but for the last 20 years I have been praying that God would give us a business man to run this country that is neither a politician nor a lawyer and just may be if he would have enough sense to get some preachers around him that fear God and respect the Word of God enough not to change it we just might see some real change in the direction of this country. I have never written anything political so we will just move on and have a big time today "movin in".

To all that have been praying for Judy she closed her eye today for the first time since this stuff hit her. we have had a number of folks write and call in regards to her problem. Not sure how much more of her face is going to go back to normal but I know it is direct response to the those who have been praying. Two dr. have now made it clear to me that they do not try and explain where it comes from and how it leaves but it leaves sometimes in a week or month or stays around for a while. I'm sure she is very thankful to be able to open and close her eye.

Thank you to all those that have prayed and please continue to bring her before our Father if you would. Last week she was asked to speak to a ladies fellowship this Saturday at Northside Baptist Chruch and she went ahead and spoke to the ladies. Kinda difficult when half of your mouth is drooping. I have much to Praise the Lord for this day and really every day. As we are aware there are some days that are very challenging and others that are very delightful. Our building that we have purchased from the Brunswick, Ga school board has now been delivered and is half set up in our back yard. I have not asked for help in the past because I have been knocked down so many times I did not know when we would actually have the building on the property to go to work collating our packets. I think my greatest need is a Georgia certified electrician that has the license to hook up the electricity from the power poll to the building. If he had the time to see to it that everything else that has to do with electricity was in order that would be a tremendous blessing to the mission. PLEASE CONTACT me if your reading this and you know this type of person that can get the job done for the mission. There are certified electricians in this city that can do the job but they like to eat and pay there bills so they charge for there time which is only right. The man that picked up our 24' by 64' house and carried it 60 miles to our property was not "poor mouthing" yesterday when I paid him for moving the building but he made it very clear to me the expenses he has in all the equipment and insurance in moving such buildings. If you know an electrician in the Georgia area that could do this work at a fair wage please call me at 704 466 5517.

My second need I think is a carpenter that does roofing work for a living, like he knows what he is doing and will guarantee his work. The end of our building is open at the roof where the mover separated the building from the other building that was attached to it. The 24 foot width of the roof is all open. We have about a 5 foot by the 24' area that needs to be closed in. If you know a man any where (this does not have to be a certified roofer) that does roofing and can do it so the roof will not leak we need a good roofer as soon as possible. The open area is now covered with a tarp that is not the best but will work until we find the right help.

If there is someone out there that has office equipment that you are not using and you could donate it to the mission it would be nice to have some office desk and equipment that would help our office to be nice.

If you have read this and you do not know any certified electricians or roofers that will guarantee there work but you have the finances that you would like to pay for a local electrician come in and do this work please reply to this plea. The plea for the finances to pay a professional roofer to come in here and finish this roof is the same request. Each company that is hired to do the work I will promise you they will have to produce some good credentials before they will be hired and they will not get any money until they get started and will not be paid in full until the work is finished.

If you cannot help with any of the above would you please pray that our Father will touch the heart of someone that knows how to do the work to come in and get it done or someone that has the finances to pay a company to come in and complete the building.

Our search for our own building where BAFM will be able to collate our material "at the drop of a hat" should come to an end tomorrow. Many of you have read that we purchased a 24' by 60' modular building form the Brunswick, GA school board for $220.00. Yes $220.00 bought a 24' by 60' school building that was built for school children to meet in for school. This all started back in June and now has almost come to an end. Today is Wed. and the city of Brunswick has required one more permit to be purchased before the mover will be able to move the building through there city. If the permit falls in order today we will have some exciting days ahead of us. The building will be moved down the highway and set up on our property in Jesup on Thursday. It will take a few months to get it all the painting, flooring and partitions put up bout at least the building part will be over.

If you would please pray Thursday morning that satan and his devils will be stopped from causing more problems. We have had plenty of them from him over this building program.

Today we mailed 200 packets to Wheeling WV for a church to share with a National Guard unit leaving next week. If you have any guard units in your area that you are aware they are moving out and you would like to be a blessing to them please let me know and we will get the gospel packets mailed out to you. You need to give me at least a 6 week notice to get it done right. To mail the boxes at the cheapest rate means they go slow and takes time. It could be a could project for the local church. You could write your own Thank You for our FREEDOM cards and color your own pictures for the packets. The men getting those items from a local church could help them and who knows God might be able to use the efforts to give an increase to His local church in the area.

For all those who have written in regards to Judy's Bell's Palsy she has just come home from a Georgia dr. and he has said the same thing as the Michigan dr. He has given some new medicine and just keep her in your prayers. Many of you have given suggestions for this prayer request and we thank each of your for your concerns.

We have a bunch of physical work to do with the building. Please pray for my health and that we will get it done. I have two months before I start my cancer treatments in Michigan and it would be nice to go back to MI knowing that things are in order here.

If you would add one more prayer request in regards to the Hayes family. For the last few days Judy has been loosing control of her speech and ability to eat. Today we got up and was packing the car to get back to Jesup for the next 2 months before my cancer treatments start and she was not looking to good. Before we got on the road we decided to go by the er and see what was up. She has been hit with Bell's Palsy. Interesting when a doctor looks at you and says, Sir the medical world really does not have an answer for this type of medical condition. Sent her home with some medicine and we will try to get to Ga tomorrow. Cannot close her eye and cannot chew her food on one side of her mouth. The dr. has no idea how long she will be in this shape.

I all ready know you all will pray and we thank you for that. Will be on the road from Ann Arbor to GA on Saturday. Thanks for praying for a safe trip.

Dear Prayer Partners,

I would like to thank all those that have emailed me and contacted me in regards to my cancer. I will try and make this as short as possible.

I have stage 2 cancer with a gleason count that has a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being the worst. My gleason count is an 8 and as the surgeon said the cells are a vey ugly cell and look to be very aggressive. My psa is running in the 50's now for the last few months and very alarming to the surgeon. The University of Michigan urology surgeon has made it very clear to me that the surgery will be very extensive and a 90% chance that there will be move radiation to kill the rest of the cancer cells plus my quality of life will go down quickly. He has recommended that I start radiation treatments that will last 10 weeks with hopes that the radiation will allow me a little better quality of life before I go to meet Jesus Christ, (the surgeon did not say that that is what I know and believe). For you all that do know a little bit about cancer you are aware of friends that you have had that had cancer and theywent to a hospital as an out patient and the teatments that they had were very simple and seemed to cure the cancer. This is not the same situation. I have been sick for the last 5 years and the VA never classifed my problems as cancer and never were alarmed enough to take measures to see what was gong on with me until a few months ago. With the level of cancer that I have I only have to options. Radical surgery to remove all my male parts and leave me with a life style that will be a challenge expecially with the street work. The other option is radiation that goes much slower. I do not know all that I'm getting involved in right now. All I know is I'm sick and hope that my Lord will show mercy and allow me to see the mission He has given me to be a greater blessing to our troops and our churches and schools.

Today is Thursday and I will have my first hormone shot today and then will be free to travel back to GA. I will have to be back at the VA hospital to start radiation treatments in 70 days. Between now and then there is much work to get done with the mission.

Please keep us in your prayers. We have hired a lady to help with the office work so we are hoping land mail we get to you more often and you will be better informed of what is going on with the mission.

If you are interested in being a blessing to some troops in the war zone and you can bake cookies for them I will send you land addresses to where you could be a tremendous blessing to them during these days. There are some troops that have come home and we could get them some goodies real quick. Cookies going to the war zones will take at least 3 weeks. Cookies sent to returning troops here in the states will be about three days. This is only for those of you that want to be a blessing to a soldier. You will mail the items from your church or your home with your return address.

I am knocked down but I'm not knocked out. As long as my legs work and I can function out in public and on the streets we will be there.

I am still making request for prayer for our building. Yes we own a 24' by 64' building that is located at the Glenn Middle School in Brunswick, GA. Our problem has been getting it moved off the property. The house mover that we hired has been put in jail for a number of items that he has done with my building and some other's that have been illegal. We have had to hire another mover to get the job done and everything is in the works with the new mover. He has promised the house will be on our property by the first week of Nov. Please pray for me there will be much physical labor involved in this part of the mission. We are very excited and looking forward to the first packets that will be collated in the new building.

Some of you have received the land mail that has made request in regards to the material that is needed to collate the next 10,000 packets. I hope you are praying in regards to what your church can do in regards to helping with the needs of material for the packet.

We will be slowed down a bit here with the cancer treatments and we have made a commitment to have the cancer treatments done here in Ann Arbor VA Hospital. The winter months will be a challenge to us. We lived 7 years in Hammond, IN while attending school and 12 years in south east Ohio so this will not be our first winter in the north. It will be different in that we will be living in our trailer at the Detroit-Greenville RV Park just 16 miles from the VA Hospital. I know without a doubt that there are hundreds of Christians that are praying for me and for our mission and we thank you.

Please pray for my wife Judy. Two days ago something went wrong with her jaw and the flesh around her cheeks. She has lost some control of being able to talk without her jaw dropping and can't keep liquid in while she is trying to drink. Will be at her doctor on Monday in GA.

I want to thank all those that have emailed me in regards to the cancer. None of this has caught my Father by surprise. He has certainly surprised me.

Please pray about the cookie mission to some of our troops. I'm very much aware that we are all busy and will get real busy once Nov and Dec. is on us. May be before all the busy stuff comes on you you could take a day and bake some cookies and take them to the post office and be a blessing to some men and women that are helping to protect your church.

I want to thank each of you that have our mission on your prayer list and you pray for us. There are some very interesting situations that only our Lord creates. This past weekend was one of those Sunday's that I know that I'm exactly where God wants me.

This is not the way to run a mission but seeing that I'm kinda up in the air about my health situation I have not scheduled any meetings for October. I will make phone calls at the last minute to see if we can be used or send out emails like I did last week. I did call a brother in the Lansing, MI area that I have preached for a number of times and have been invited back on numerous times to speak again. So I give him a call to see if he knows a direction I could go for a Sunday Morning meeting because he wanted me speak for his folks on Sunday night. He gave me a name of a church down the road from him and said they might give me a few minutes to share the mission. It was about a 2 hour drive from Ypsilanti where we are parked. Drove in to the Pastor's city and stopped to get some direction to the church but the folks at the gas station did not know where the church was located. The people at the gas station were from India and really not wanting to know where the Baptist churches are located. Anyway had to call the Pastor on the phone to let him know that a missionary was going to visit his church service all the way from Jesup, Georgia. You want believe this. When the Pastor picked up the phone I told him who I was and that I work with the Marine Corps and started to tell him the other branches of service that we minister to and he says, Sir as you are talking I'm ironing our Marine Corps flag to display it in the church. Today is our first day of our missions conference and we want to emphasis our military in the conference. Here God has had me drive two hours to a church that I had never been to and meet a Pastor that I had never met and they did not have a missionary for the Sunday Morning service nor for the Sunday Night. I was allowed a few minutes in the Sunday morning service and was given enough time during the evening service to share our burden. The church folks ended up taking about 250 of the Thank You for our FREEDOM cards to write for our Troops. It sure is a good feeling to know you are exactly where your Father wants you to be and you didn't have anything to do with the plans.

Many of you pray for this work and your forever bringing it before our Lord and He is listening to your request. I thank you and hope that you will continue to keep us in your prayers. Tuesday Oct. 4th we will be making some major decisions in regards to my health and where we will get treatments for the cancer problem. My brother that has provided my wife and I a place to live for the last few weeks has also provided a place for the winter if the Lord leads me to do all my treatments here in Ann Arbor. The drive to the hospital for the treatments will only be 15 minutes. If we go back home in Jesup I will have a 150 trip to the hospital for the treatments. There is a lot up in the air right now and hope you will be praying for the right decision to be made.

At the main office in Jesup we are out of material to collate and still do not have our building to do our collating in. Our work in the Eglin AFB is looking very good and we need to keep that mission supplied with material. When things happen like happened yesterday with me talking to a total stranger over the phone about our mission and the stranger is fixin to display the Marine Corps flag in the church auditorium it wants me to think that all the other things like being out of material and my building not be delivered yet and the cancer treatments all the way up in Michigan and Judy and I might live together all winter in this trailer (this will be very interesting) are in my Fathers plan. Please pray I will listen and be exactly where we need to be for the good of our Saviour.

The Pastor's church that our Father led me to yesterday his brother is a Pastor here in Michigan and is the president of the Michigan Christian School Association so it could be if the Lord will work in the Pastor's heart we could met a man that could help open many doors to speak in more schools that could help with the writing. Would you please pray about brother Patrick meeting with this Pastor's brother with hopes that he would help open the doors to more Christian schools that just might help us with the "pulling" (Jude 22,23)of our Troops out of Hell. It is a "win win" situation for the young people to get involved in missions and for the soldiers to get personal hand written notes from Christian young people that could make a difference (Jude 22) eternally in the lives of our Troops. Please pray in regards to this meeting.

It is exciting to be in the Lord's work and we thank all those that not only pray but all those that give of your finances to help keep the mission moving ahead. We are still here in Michigan after a great 8 day Round Robin Missions Conference. The conference started for me way up at First Baptist Church in Onaway. It was a tremendous church to start a missions conference for our Mission. Sunday night we had about 20 people come back at 5 p.m. to help prepare our 8 by 10 pictures of the schools and churches with our "Thank You for our FREEDOM" banner. The folks had a great time and were a tremendous blessing to our Saviour and to our Mission. After 8 nights of preaching starting in Onaway we ended the Missions conference at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. At this church we met a very delightful Pastor my the name of Pastor Haymaker. We asked the good Pastor if we could ask his folks to come back on Sunday night to do some physical missions work and he thought that would be a good idea. Had about 20 or so folks come out and when they were finished we had 200 of our picture frames installed and folks were writing on the back good thoughts in regards to the work the Veterans have done for there nation.

We will be in the Ann Arbor area this weekend and we do not have any meetings for Sunday morning nor Sunday night. If you could use us to share with your folks what God is doing on the streets at our Military bases we would count it a privilege to speak. During the last 6 weeks I have been gone and our God has opened doors in the Ft. Walton Beach area where Eglin AFB is located with 1,972 folks that have taken a Gospel packet. That totals to 33,324 tracts ( actually they are "Little Preachers", "Seeds", "Gospel Hooks",) that our God will get the glory with and His Son will be glorified as His Word is magnified on the streets of America (Psalm 138: 1-2). Please be in prayer that we will find other churches like the one God has given us in the Eglin AFB area. If we had a Pastor and a church like the one there in every military city where there is a Wal-Mart and streets God could do a great work with the troops.

As many of you are aware there has been no mail for about the last 3 weeks. The schedule has been very interesting and there has been no computer until the other day when a friend at Willis Baptist Church in Willis, MI took time to take our lap top and fix it and was very patient with me to get me going again with the lap top and having to learn how to find signals while in a trailer park. Anyways we are in business again with the lap top and I hope this email will be a help. I will try to make brief statements in regards to what has been going on the last few weeks.

Many of you have asked about Judy's knee surgery. She had a complete replacement and is doing fine today. She still has pain and the wet weather here in Michigan is bothering her some but compared to the pain she had she will take this pain any day.

Many of you that have followed my emails know that I have had problems over the years with my PSA count. Three weeks ago at the Charleston, VA I was told that I have Prostate Cancer and the cancer is a gleason 8 level. At this writing I'm in the Ann Arbor, MI area where I have had bone scans and CT scans on the rest of my body to see if the cancer has spread to the bones. As of last week the Prostate is the only area of my body that has cancer. Oct. 4th I will be meeting with the doctors at the VA hospital in Ann Arbor to talk about my options. Please pray that the Lord will give me wisdom on what to do.

In one of our last emails I made a request for material for the packets. If your interested in helping keep the material going to the troops we need your help. All the material has to be ordered in groups of 10,000 to get a good price. I believe I made up a list of the items in the packet with hopes that churches could take an item and buy the 10,000 that is needed to assemble. One of our churches that is working with us on the streets and at our Wal-Marts last Saturday in Eglin AFB had a total of 5 workers and 8 hours of labor and our Lord gave them 1002 folks that took a Gospel packet. That was 17,000 Gospel tracts placed in the hands of folks in the Eglin AFB area. God has promised His Word will not return void and He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. The local church is seeking the Lord through this mission. There are folks in our military that are thinking about the way things are going and a Gospel tract can certainly help them. There were 1002 coloring pictures and 1002 hand written thank you notes that were shared to try and show some compassion to those folks. God is going to bless His work and He is blessing it. For all of you that have seen our 6 minute video one of the prayer request that we have on the video is pray for our safety and health. October 1st 2011 will be my 10th anniversary on the streets. During these 10 years we have had some pretty interesting health problems that we have shared with our email readers. Since 2007 we have been doctoring with the VA with my psa count that has been getting higher and higher and now for the last 6 months has been out of control. The last biopsy that was taken on the prostate has come back this past Tuesday and was positive for prostate cancer. The surgeon has ordered a bone scan and ct scan of my body to see if the cancer has spread in any other area of the body. I'm 62 and our mission is now 10 years old and in just the last 2 weeks we have been honored by the U.S. Marine Corps and an Army Special Forces Group with an American Flag that was flown in Afghanistan in honour of BAFM. We have now purchased our own 24' by 60' building that we will be able to do our own collating and hopefully become very efficient is the prayer. We have some new Chaplains that we are now working with that could possibly open some new doors for the mission. Two weeks ago at the Ft. Walton Beach Eglin Air Force Base Wal-Mart we had 970 people that received a Gospel packet of the Good News. Lots of good things happening and now the health issue.

I'm asking you if you would please have your church add this issue to your prayer list. The plan is to be at the Ann Arbor, Michigan VA in another 2 weeks to get an second opinion of the situation. I'm a Vietnam Veteran and many men my age that have been in Vietnam have the same problem. Please pray that things will fall in order for this to be taken care of with the VA.

Whatever you do if you have been writing the Thank You for our FREEDOM cards for the packets please do not quit. We are now in the process of ordering more material for the next 10,000 packets which will bring us to 89,000 packets once they are paid for and collated. Thank you for your request that you have shared with our Heavenly Father in regards to the transmission problem in the car. Coming home from the Chaplains school in Ohio I mentioned to you in the last email of all the interesting situations that took place coming home. One of those interesting situations was the transmission going out in Columbia, SC and my 3 hour trip turning in to a 6 hour trip because the transmission would not shift gears. Sounds like a big deal to me but all it was was a $75.00 electrical solenoid that went bad just happen to go bad in a rain storm and coming home from Ohio. Very simple and I thank you all for your prayers.

BIG PRAYER REQUEST. Every where I go specially like my home church folks want to know where the building is. The contractor has promised me it will be here this saturday. Guess what Irene has to show up now but as we all know there is a God in Heaven that can take care of the storm. We are really hoping to have that building before we leave for Michigan in about two weeks. Today I went and loaded 100 concrete blocks 8" by 16" and 27 foundation slab blocks 16" by 16" by 4" for the piers that the building will sit on. It had to be done today. Tomorrow I will have prostate surgery and I have no idea when I will be moving concrete blocks again. Pray we will find some young bucks that will help set them in order when the building arrives. Please pray the storm will turn away from Georgia and the contractor will be able to move the building to its new home.

I'm hoping you read about the Wal Mart in Ft. Walton Beach and the 970 folks that received a Gospel packet this past Saturday. Once this building is in operation that type of mission will be a piece of cake as long as we have the material on hand. I'm thinkin if the Lord is gonna give us this building He will have it stocked with His Word so It will go out at a "drop of the hat", and I will be dropping the hat a bunch, AMEN.

The last time I had anytype of surgery was in first grade when I broke my arm. That was a few years ago so please pray we will be back going real soon.

Hello! I've been out and about traveling to our different firebases, but I wanted to let you know that the boxes arrived while I was gone. I know for sure that "Peter," "James," "John," and "Miami" have arrived. I think there was a 5th box in there as well, but I didn't see a code name. I have already disbursed all of the cookes and they survived the trip and were eaten very quickly. I also have placed the booklets and the CDs in some strategic locations so hopefully Soldiers will pick them up and be inspired. I will also continue to take them with me when I travel and share them. We have plenty of booklets to disburse and should be good for awhile.

Thank you so much for the resources and for all the goodies! Please share my thanks and appreciation to all those that contributed. I personally enjoyed the fudge and chocolate chip cookies! :) A more formal thank you will be arriving in the mail.

I have never received so much mail from a Chaplain in all my ministry, THANK YOU.

When you receive the boxes that I have sent you each box is suppose to have a "code" name in the box. If you would email me and let me know when the box arrives it will help me at my end to have a little peace of mind that we are not throwing away money of postage and material. The Good Lord is the only One that knows what the cookies will taste like when they arrive. Kinda interesting yesterday my wife and I were in Brunswick, GA. looking at the building I just bought for our mission and after looking at it for a bit we drove by a South Georgia farmers market. It was kinda small with about 12 vendors. One of them was selling cookies and pies and lots of stuff I should not eat, I do not pass up home made cookies. They were very good so I talked with the guy that was selling them and he was the baker also. I told him I wanted to order 12 dozen cookies and told him I was sending them to you all and he wouldn't sell them to me. No preservatives in them so he believed they would spoil before they got to you. Hopefully ours will not spoil before they get to you.

I'm suppose to be at a missions school in New Philadelphia, OH this week where there will be 12 Chaplains scheduled for the school. This could be a major blessing for our Saviour to find some more men that are about getting the Gospel out to our men and women in the Armed Forces.

I would like to thank each one of you that keep me in your daily prayers. I know folks are praying when I have the things that come my way that only the Lord can take care of and I'm reminded on a pretty regular bases that folks are praying for our mission.

This past week I was give a total of about 8 minutes to speak to the Chaplains at the school I attended at Calvary Baptist Church in New Philadelphia, OH. A lot can be said in 8 minutes and we were able to share our mission video with the Chaplains to let them see what we are trying to do for our troops and most of all for our Saviour. We now have four new Chaplains that showed some interest in our mission. These all could be doors that will open for the mission. You all will really like this. One of the Chaplains is stationed in Hawaii. Can you all see me and Judy going to Hawaii to minister in the streets at the military base in Hawaii. Kinda of sounds like I would like it. For those of you that know me you know that I'm not going to be spending money for a airplane ticket like that when I have plenty of work here in the states. Please pray for the Chaplains that have shown some interest in the mission. Each one has a Pastor so it could be open doors for some new churches to get involved in the work.

Talking about knowing that folks are praying. This past Friday I had a Ohio deer come at me while I was doing about 45 mph right down the street from Calvary Baptist Church there in New Philadelphia, OH. You talk about ruining your day real quick a deer can ruin your day real quick. This guy or girl was right out of the woods and coming across the other lane right at me and took a left turn just a few feet from the car. Thanks for all of you that pray for this mission. Believe it or not heading back to Jesup, GA I didn't get but 30 miles away and a belt broke in a tire and the tire was giving me a real good ride. This all happen right down the street from the city where we pastored for 12 years. In 12 years in one city you buy a bunch of tires and I new exactly where to get the car to. The tire never did blow out and we were able to bump our way to the tire store. Praise the Lord while there the guy fixin the tire found out that the breaks were bad so we were able to kill two birds with one stone, AMEN. Well you would think that was enough for one day but Satan had another curve ball to throw at me. Got to Columbia, SC and got into a real good rain storm like it looked like a war zone with all the cars parked along the highway. I was wanting to get home so just kept plowing and got into some bad water and something went wrong with the transmission. Well my 3 hour trip from Columbia to Jesup ended up being 6 hours instead of 3 and the car still will not go into the next gear. This just might be a good time to trade the car off. I'm in need of a smaller pick up truck like a S-10 or a Ford Ranger. The reason for the new vehicle is the pick-up will be used to be pulled behind my Ford 350 that will have my camper on top of it and I will pull my packets behind it in a vehicle that can be used at the military bases with out making a big scene. My big red truck with a camper will be loaded down and to big to park outside of a base while working on the streets. If you have a small pick-up that will be able to carry about 1,500 to 2,000 pounds on the back we could use it. Please give me a call at 704 466 5517.

I think the reason for some of the problems was the good contacts that we just made in New Philadelphia. I'm not sure what our Lord has in mind with the new Chaplains that have seen our mission. With our new building coming this week and the ability to get better organized It could be that our Lord will be able to use us more once we are able to get more material collated and shipped in a more efficient way. Satan surely is not happy with all that took place in New Philadelphia. While I was driving home on Friday afternoon and Saturday the good folks of Gulf Coast Baptist Church in Ft. Walton Beach, Fl where Eglin AFB is located had worked hard for weeks preparing for the Wal-Mart on the 20th of August. They baked cookies and brownies and had other things to share in front of the Wal-Mart. The main thing they had was hand written Thank You for our FREEDOM cards and there own coloring pictures for the Gospel packets that would be shared with the other goodies. When Saturday was all over there was 970 people that took a gospel packet. The church had 9 workers that stayed out front of the Wal-Mart until they had ran out of packets. When you do the math on this it was 16,490 gospel tracts that were shared in about 8 hours of ministry. Please keep the Wal-Marts in your prayers that these doors will open at every Wal-Mart in every city in America where there is a military base. Ft. Walton Beach is home of Eglin Air Force Base. Thousands of troops shop in that Wal-Mart every day. Jesus name was glorified. His Word was honored. Jesus will see to it that His Word will not return void. Folks will be saved and His kingdom will be added to. It is very easy to see why there is problems when so much is going on that is good.

If you would please keep in prayer the building. It has been paid for and we are waiting now for the contractor to transport it from Brunswick, GA to Jesup about 50 miles. For those that gave to help purchase the building we have now had about $11,400.00 come in to take care of the building and all the other things that will be needed to get it in order. For all those of you that help give Jesus Christ will have rewards for you when you get to Heaven. The building will be used to prepare the packets for the street. Jesus certainly is pleased with His Word going out in to the hands of our troops. Thank you for your financial support. During the next few weeks we will be completely out of material. If you had made plans to help us with the building and you see that I have shared with you that we had $11,400.00 come in for the building and you were going to send in an offering we still need help with the next 10,000 packets that we need to order before we leave for Michigan.

There might be some folks reading this letter that has never seen one of our packets and you would like to help get the Gospel message in to the hands of our troops. If you would want to see one of them all you have to do is reply to this email with your address and we will mail you want. They now average about $2.25 each. You might thing that is a lot of money to give to a Soldier and the money does mount up but we are dealing with folks that are protecting our properties and our lives. Many of them have a very good understanding of death and that it could come there way today. $2.25 is very little for the investment these folks are making for us.

Right now we need to order 10,000 jacket covers at the cost of 20 cents each. 10,000 Marine tracts at the cost of 20 cents each. 10,000 John and Romans at the cost of 15 cents each. 10,000 Oliver Greene tracts at 15 cents each. 10,000 Thank You for our FREEDOM cards at 10 cents each. 10,000 little pocket size John and Romans at the cost of 10 cents each. We have an article that Dr. Henry Morris wrote called the I Am's of Christ, He has given me permission to print it and we pay 15 cents for that tract. Each soldier that takes a packet gets a 4 by 6 picture of a church or school group with our banner that says Thank You for our FREEDOM. We buy these at Walgreens at 10 cents each. This totals $11,500.00 just for material to put together the next 10,000 gospel packets. This 10,000 will bring the mission up to 89,000 packets. This converts in to 1,513,000 Gospel tracts that will be shared at the bases. If you can help with this it sure would be a blessing. Dear Prayer Partners,

I want to thank each one of our Partners that has given financially towards the purchase of our office building for collating and storage of our material. This past week the son of our Interim Pastor here in Jesup, GA. was visiting his parents. This young man is a preacher and assistant pastor in Texas and made it clear to me that he reads everyone of my emails. Well that was very encouraging because I have had pastors that have made it clear to me that they do not have time to read all that I write. So after a few minutes of small talk with this young man he started asking questions about our building program that has been going on for the last 6 months. The new building that we have just purchased he thought was a modular because that is what was offered to me in the beginning. Once he realized that our Lord Jesus has made it possible for us to purchase a 24' by 60' house that does not come apart down the middle, this is a house that was built on the Brunswick County School property according to the Florida hurricane building code. When I told him our Lord has made it possible to purchase the building for $6,000.00 his next question was how much is it going to cost you to have it moved from Brunswick. This young preacher has been in church work for a while and has a good understanding of finances. When I told him the $6,000.00 includes the building and two central air and heat units that were approved by the Georgia school board and the $6,000.00 includes the shipping and setting up the building I thought he was going to have a "pentecostal fit" to tell you the truth I need to have one with all that is going on. The young preacher made a very interesting statement to me that I have been waking up to each morning, "you are in danger of becoming dangerously effective in the ministry." It is going to be exciting to beable to find things when I need them and have room for our workers to work and be effective. Thank you to brother John Robinson for his insight.

Some have been asking about the building because the building is not here as of Thursday August 11. Maybe you will have a second to read a real life story of what goes on in the life of Patrick and those that partner with him. Our mover is Crawford Specialized Movers out of Savannah, GA. Our building that we have purchased from him is on the Brunswick Middle School property about 60 miles from Savannah and about the same to Jesup where we have our present office. This man is two weeks behind in shipping other customers buildings. The reason I'm writing this is because some folks have a lot of "stuff" that goes on in there lives that folks don't understand why things are not getting done the way they think it is to get done or the way they expect things to get done. Any time this man moves a structure, (modular's, mobile houses, complete houses) he has to go through the DOT and the Georgia Highway Patrol has to give him and exhort. We this past week he had all the paper work in order with the DOT that gives the permits to allow the usage of certain highways and this past Monday he was given permission from the DOT of Georgia to use I-95 the Federal Highway that goes from Miami to Washington D.C. When he got on the interstate with his buildings and the approval of the state with his exhorts the DOT forgot that I-95 had been repaved this past Summer and that changed the clearance of the very first overpass that he had to bring his buildings under. Guess what in the middle of I-95 this past Monday this brother has a building on top of transport trailers that will not pass through. He has to turn his trucks around in the middle of a Federal highway and get permission from the DOT to go another way.

Today I get another phone call from this brother. You all do not know all the story but this man has already been paid for the building in full so I get worried when things are not happening according to the time frame that we are told it is going to happen. It is really a problem for my stomach when I'm dealing with church money and the offerings of good churches that have trusted me. I call this man every morning and every afternoon wanting to know what is going on with my building. This morning another phone call. Brother Patrick please pray for me. We were hoping to move your buildings this Saturday but I'm stuck in Richmond Hill (next to Savannah). I'm moving some cottages that are owned by the local bank here in Savannah. These cottages have been repoessed by the bank and they have hired me to move them. For the last couple of days we have set this move up and this morning we are pulling out with the buildings on my carriers and Pepsi and Coke vendors come out and stop me from pulling off the property demanding there vending machines when I don't know a thing about the vending machines in side the buildings. The bankers are out here right now fighting with the sales men that want there vending machines back and the bankers are saying they belong to the bank and brother Patrick will you please pray for me. It cost me $1,800.00 a day when my equipment sits in these types of situations. For those of you that have taken time to read this far would you please bow your heads and pray for Angus Crawford the man moving my buildings. The price of the building is actually $8,000.00 but because of the work I'm doing for our troops he has given me the buildings for $6,000.00. He has some real life problems and would appreciate prayers of church people.

Judy and I are suppose to be at a missions school starting this Sunday in New Philadelphia, OH for one week. Not sure what is going to happen there.

My doctor at the Charleston VA hospital has contacted me and is insisting that I have prostate surgery on August 23. I think I have mentioned to our partners that I have been having problems with this area of my body for the last few years. Please be praying that our Lord will allow me to see our mission bloom into a mission that will make a difference in this world and among out troops. May be it is time to take a break and do some writing and reading. I still have a dream to get our packets into the hands of every member of the Armed Forces. I still believe the Bible and still believe Mark 16:15 "And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature." Personally I'm not to sure how our Commander and Chief expects us to do this but I'm gonna give it a try. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13 is still in the Book, AMEN

Please keep in prayer my property in Shelby, NC. I'm very serious about this. If you know anybody in that area that would be willing to buy a three bedroom house with a Florida room and two dining rooms a brand new central heat and air conditioning unit a 45 foot deck that sweeps around the back corner of the east side of the trailer that over looks two acres of weeded lots. Along with the 2 acres and all the house is a 28' by 12' with 10' ceilings all for the price of $69,000.00. There is one Baptist college with in 1/4 of a mile of the house and a Baptist University within 5 miles of the house. Please call me if interested. I personally know some pastors that own rental property and if I lived in one area and was there all the time I might do the same thing for an investment for the future. I'm not a pastor and spend much time on the road and do not have time to baby sit people that rent property. It has been a while since any of you have heard from me. Hopefully this will be complete yet short enough that some of you that have told me you want read because I write to much.

We now have a new contact in Ft. Drum outside of Watertown, New York. One of the Chaplains have contacted us and wants to start using our packets for his services. Please pray that I will be able to be in the Watertown area this Fall to meet some new pastors and churches.

We have also started a new work in Ocean Side, CA with the wives of some of our Marines that we have been sending Gospel packets to in Afghanistan. Please pray in regards to this new mission. The wives of our troops need help and our packets just might me what they need and will respond to.

Since the last writing we have a new Chaplain in Afghanistan that has requested our Gospel packets.

For all those that have been praying in regards to our new building it is suppose to be delivered on Tuesday August 9. For those that are not aware of this our Lord has made it possible for us to purchase a 24' by 60' cottage house with central heat and air for $6,000.00 shipped and set up on our property. We are ready in Jesup for the building just pray that the building will be delivered this Tuesday and set up. For those that have prayed in regards to the finances the building has been paid for. As of today we have had $8,000.00 come in for the building. Today we received a phone call from one of our faithful supporters at Bible Baptist Church in Lake Odessa, MI that they had the largest Vacation Bible School offering they have ever had and they wanted to give it towards the purchase of the building, PRAISE THE LORD for a pastor with a vision for our troops. The offering was $925.00 and if I understand the pastor correctly they has competition between the boys and girls in the offering each night. The last night of the offering the boys were behind by $20.00 and came back to beat the girls by $4.50. The Lord Jesus will have some rewards for these children some day. Pray that all these children will be saved someday real soon. For you all that are reading about the $8,000.00 that has come in and your thinking well we will just take the money that we collected for BAFM and share it somewhere else I hope you will not do that. There is still a electrician that has to be hired to set up all the air conditioning units plus all the other electrical things that are needed. There is still painting and cleaning and the skirting around the building that has to be purchased. As the pastor said that is sending the VBS offering of $925.00 please take the leftovers and buy packets for the troops AMEN.

This Thursday I'm suppose to be on the road for the Fall season in Ohio and Michigan. There is a 6 day mission school that I need to be at this Saturday in New Philadelphia, OH and then 3 weeks later a mission conference in Michigan. Hello My Brother,

had a big blessing at this end today. One of the ladies in the church (70 years young) brought over a bunch on home made cookies like they were still warm when she came over. All have been packed and shipped on June 30. There were 6 cases of items mailed out today. I hope all 6 will make it to you.

Will drive tomorrow from South GA to North Ohio for a meeting on Sunday am and pm. Please pray I will find another meeting for Wed. night. With Judy being in the hospital and needing personal attention I have not been preaching out any where. Please pray the churches that I speak in this Sunday will take interest in what we are doing and will want to help with the finances.

You ever wonder how to get the Gospel message in the hands of adults that are professional people in the matter of one hour. Try in front of a military complex. I want to thank all those that have a burden to get the Gospel message into the hands of American soldiers all across this nation. Today in the lunch traffic in front of our Army Ranger base the very first soldier I talked to was from Montana and then Texas and for the rest of the time I was on the street we had cars from all across America. Our Lord has a plan for this nation and if I had men at the other military base that could see this we could cast the Seed all across this nation in a year or so. What is very interesting I have been standing at the same intersection for the last seven years and the people I talked with today I have never seen. The Army rotates them in the base and then they rotate out. It seems as if I'm always getting a new congregation of folks to talk with. I want to thank all those that are praying.

For those that are praying about helping with the purchase of the modular we still need help. Since last Wednesday night we have had $6,000.00 promised towards the modular. The $6,000.00 is what we were asking for to pay the contractor off for the building and that money has been promised. I cannot get the building until the contractor is paid for the building. If you are still praying about in offering for the modular there is an electrical poll that has to be installed by the power company and a certified electrical contractor to connect all the electricity. All the skirting will have to be installed and plumbing for the toilet and sink. IF THER IS ANY MONEY THAT COMES IN OVER THE COST OF THE MODULAR AND MAKING IN FUCTION THERE IS STILL $1,500.00 ON THE SONG BOOK AND 10,000 PACKETS THAT WE HAVE TO ORDER. If the Good Lord has laid it on your heart to help with this I promise you the money will go towards the modular and then any left over's will go towards the song book and any left over's after that will go towards the packets. If there is any left over after that then we still owe money on the RV trailer that we live in while going down the highway.

We have had 5 churches that promised to help with the modular and I thank each of them for the support. For the last 9 1/2 years there has always been some individuals that love what I'm doing that has jumped in and helped with these projects. Please do not think that because the $6,000.00 has been promised that we are good to go. The other items that I have listed will need to be paid before the building will be able to be used.

For you all that have prayed about my personal problems in Lattimore with the trailer that was purchased way back in 99 we have actually had a lady call be today that wants to rent it. There are some things in this life that are hard to figure. Some folks came to me back in January with a long story needing a place to live and I certainly needed some to rent the trailer. They had no money they said so in the house with no money down and no security money just the rent for the month and off we go. Well off they went two weeks ago in the middle of the night. What is really interesting the guy moved to Lattimore to go to the Baptist college to become a preacher. Well what is really interesting I never got a phone call and was never told nothing until one of my neighbors that kinda knows every bodies business on the block and tells me trucks have pulled in to your property last night and those people are gone. The problem that is kinda of interesting they turned the electricity off and packed the freezer with meat. Guess what happens to meat in a refrigerator for a week with no electricity. Walking into the house was interesting for our daughter that called me and told me what the folks had done. Maggots maggots and more maggots. If anybody wants to buy a piece of rental property in a city that has two Baptist colleges in it let me know. Two acres of land and 70foot by 26 foot house with a wrap around deck in the back and deer in your back yard etc etc. Call me and if you want to be in that rental business I will be more than glad to help you.

Please pray for Northside Baptist Church in Jesup,GA. This is the church were we joined and where we live. August the 7th we are having a big push to bake cookies and small pound cakes for the troops in afghanistan and there families out in California. we are going to do something a little different. We have been sending things to the troops since 2003. I have been burdened for the families of the Marines so the Good Lord lead me to send some of the items to the wives and children of the Marines. Please pray about this project. Our church is pretty small so if your reading this and your in the local area of Jesup and would like to help with some baked items that will be packaged and mailed to the Marines and the families on the 8th of August we welcome your offering. If you are in the area and do not attend this church it would be a good idea to call me and tell me what you want to do. I'm very much aware that our homes are very hot right now with the heat spell. If you could make candy or other items that would not require turning the oven on that would be great. Thank you for your continued prayer for the mission. This message came in this morning from Afghanistan. I hope it will help and encourage you in regards to your prayers for this mission. Please continue to pray the funds will come in to keep the Gospel packets going to our troops.

In regards to the prayer request for the $6,000.00 for the modular we have now received $3,500.00 in promises. Those promises will come through so we will be in Savannah on Monday to purchase the building. If you are concerned about having extra money there is no such thing as extra money. A tie rod went bad in the truck Thursday and before it was over the expense to fix the truck was $550.00. I still have to hire a certified electrician to set up the electricity for the modular and the power company has to come out and set the electric pole for the modular. I'm trying to be honest about how much money comes in and if I'm gonna be honest about how much money comes in I will be honest about all the needs.

I love you all and count it a privilege to "Stand between the living and the dead". Our property in Jesup is 40 feet from the city cemetery. BAFM is standing for the Truth between living soldiers and those who have passed on. I would like to thank each person that has been praying for my wife Judy. For the last three days she has had some very rough days with being dizzy, vomiting and the problems that go along with vomiting ( I would spell the word but I don't know how, I think it is diarrhea). Anyways this past week I have called 16 churches asking for help with the modular that we are trying to purchase for the mission. During every conversation the individual that I was talking with asked how Judy was doing. Each one I told the same story that she is now driving herself to Wal-Mart and walking with out any aids and doing great. Well we found out that her body has not had time to heal after major surgery and a virus has gotten in to her and she if pretty sick now. The doctor has made it very clear that she is not going out in public anymore until she has given her body time to rebuild plus all the chemicals that were put into her body so they could do what they did to her to take the old knee out and replace it with a new one. Major operation and major trauma to the body. She is slowed down know for a month or so. Please pray about meetings that we need to help pay the bills. She will not be going out for a month and will not be going to Ohio for a missions conference that I have in the middle of August. We have another missions conference in Sept. and the doctor said she will not be going to that one if she is not up and strong and feeling normal. Please pray if it be the Lord's Jude will be able to attend these meetings with me.

Thank you for your prayers for Jude and those that have been praying for the modular. This coming Monday we will find out if we have enough money to purchase the building. We need a total of $6,000.00 to purchase the modular. For those hearing about this for the first time we are trying to purchase a 24 foot by 60 foot modular that is in Savannah, GA and has been used for a school while they built a new school. I have walked through the building and it looks very well. The owner will deliver the building to our property and set it up according to the city code for $6,000.00. It has central heat and air and meets all the codes for the hurricane zone.

For 9 1/2 years now we have packed boxes to go into the war zones from our kitchen table. Each time we have collated now 79,000 packets we have had to carry the material to churches to get the job done. It is an event to see and a tremendous amount of time and labor to get the job done. With our own building all the shipping of material to other churches to do the collating would come to an end. Our own building would save me much time and allow me space to set the material properly and become an efficient mission. Our men need us and they need the Gospel message that we are sharing with them. I hope I can keep this short so that you might read and may be get a blessing from this blessing.

Some of you are aware that BAFM has written a 60 page song book for our troops to be added to the Gospel packet that we are sharing with the troops. One of the articles in the song book is the "Ten Commandments". About a month ago I heard a message on the 10 Commandments and the speaker finished his sermon with a very good outline on the subject of grace. Ever since I heard that sermon I have been bothered that I do have the "Ten Commandments" in my song book but no help on the subject of grace and a good outline on that subject along with the "Ten Commandments". Matthew 9:4 "And Jesus knowing their thoughts said,.....". There are many other portions of scripture where we are very confident that the scriptures teach that our God knows the very things we think about and pays attention to our thoughts.

Our Lord gave me a wakeup call this week just to let me know that He knows what is going on with the song book project and the modular project the need for the 10,000 packets Judies knee and the hospital and doctor bills that came in this past week. On top of all these projects going on at one time the house that we have never been able to sell in North Carolina that we were able to rent out to some college students in Lattimore up and moved and never contacted me about moving, just moved.

This past Monday morning the thought about the "Ten Commandments" being in the song book without some type of lesson or brief sermon on the subject of grace was really bothering me. I called the printer that has the song book on a disk and asked him if there was still time to make an addition and told him my problem with not having anything in the book on the subject of grace. In our conversation with the printer that lives in Gaylord, MI I mentioned to him that I would really like to find Lestor Roloff's sermon on Dr. Law and Dr. Grace. I had heard the sermon 35 years ago and felt it would be a blessing to the song book. My printer in Gaylord had no idea how to get one so I kinda dropped it for a bit and still knew that I wanted something in the song book on the subject of grace. You will not believe this. This conversation took place on Monday morning on a phone. Our God listens to phone conversations also. I'm sure you already know that. He also knows what we are reading on the computer and watching on the "whatsoever". The church that I preached in on the Sunday before Monday the pastor suggested that I visit the Mansfield Baptist Temple in Mansfield,OH for the wednesday night service. The pastor of the church that suggested that i attend the Wednesday night service in Mansfield had called the pastor and told him that I was coming. When a pastor knows I'm coming sometimes they will let me have a few minutes to speak and let the folks know who we are. That did not happen but the pastor did ask me to stand and told the folks who I am. If your still reading your gonna like this. There were some veterans in the church that came up and talked with me and while talking with a veteran a man walked up right in the middle of a conversation with this other man and handed me a catalog and told me that he was in the sermon ministry and he gives missionaries and evangelist free sermons on cd's and mp3's. Here I'm having this conversation with this other man and this guy starts to walk off and I ask him if he had any Lester Roloff sermons in his catalog. All he said was, Well go ahead and look. I turned to the Lester Roloff page in his catalog and there it was, Dr. Law and Dr. Grace by Lester Roloff.

I love you all and thank all of you that pray for this mission. We have a bunch going on right now but what is good our Lord knows our very thoughts and sometimes even lets us know that He is listening to our phone conversations. I love being a Christian and please pray for the street work that I will present the Lord Jesus in the right way to our saved troops and those that are lost.

Please continue to pray about the situation with the modular to help solve our space problem. The material to collate another 10,000 packets is still needed and please pray that we will have an excellent outline in our song book on the subject of "Grace". We still have time to make the addition to the song book. Please pray this will be the last addition to it and Bearing Precious Seed will soon have the time to get it printed. It is a good thing that it has been placed on hold, AMEN

I am asking for prayer for this weekend. I will be preaching in two churches this weekend that we have never spoken in. Calvary Baptist church in New Philadelphia and Calvary Baptist church in Shelby, OH. I think I need churches in Ohio to get behind our mission. Would you please pray that the Holy Spirit will have His way in both services. The Sunday morning service i have been asked to speak on America and our greatest need in this nation. Sunday night I will have liberty to share our burden for the military. Please pray we will have folks that will volunteer to get involved in the writing program of the mission.

I certainly appreciate all those that have been praying for my wife Judy. The physical therapist is very pleased with her progress. After a complete knee replacement she is actually walking without a walker. She is kinda pushing it a bit and she still uses the walker some but around the house she is walking without it. Even went to Wal-Mart the other day with her sister. I will be in Ohio for the meetings and her sister from Houston has come in to take good care of her. Thanks again for all of you that have taken time to pray for her recovery.

Dear Prayer Partners,

Many of you have shown some interest in our desire to find a building where our mission could have more space to work out of and become a more efficient mission. A few months ago we located the Red Hill Baptist Church in Jesup, GA. that had set empty for 15 years. I thought for sure the church would sell our mission the property or at least lease it to me. It has taken about 3 months to finally get a decision and the decision was not to lease nor sell the property. The very week I received this information a local pastor in our area contacted me in regards to modular's that were being sold in Savannah, GA. These modular's were used by the school board while another school was being built. The building is complete and the contractor that has purchased the modular's has to have these buildings moved during the next few weeks. These buildings are 24 feet by 60 feet have central heat and central air. I have walked through two of them and they would work perfect for what we are trying to do in Jesup. Our building inspector in Jesup has been out to inspect our property and has given me the go ahead for the building. The contractor allowed me to pick out one of the modular's for our mission which he will sell to our mission for $6,000.00 delivered and set up according to code in our city.

For all of you that read all the mail that I send to you you know that during the last few months I have sounded like a "beggar". We have the song book project going right now that is in Milford Oh. at Bearing Precious Seed. It will be printed as soon as the printers can work it in to to the schedule. We have money that we have been raising for another 10,000 packets. Many of the items that go in to the packet have to be ordered in 10,000 quantities to get the best price. You get the best price but you also have to have larger sums of money when you order the material. Churches have been my only hope for the last 5 years and they are still my only hope today. Since 2005 I have been in over 150 churches that we have introduced our mission to. Out of that 150 churches we average hearing from about 38 churches on a monthly bases with financial support. Those 38 churches are the one's that have kept this mission running since 2005. When we have days like we did at Eglin Air Force base this past Memorial Day weekend where we had 9 workers and shared 1,875 packets with the folks coming out of the Wal Mart at the East end of the Air base my Lord impresses me that our mission is extremely important to Him. Thirty one thousand Gospel tracts (Seeds, hooks, preachers) went out all over that base during 18 hours of work that weekend. This could be done more often if I just was better organized and had the back-up that is needed. That one weekend cost the mission about $4,000.00. Sounds like a bunch of money but it is the only way I know of getting the Seed out of the barn so may be someday Jesus Christ will have a great harvest of souls in this country before He comes for His Bride.

I know I have talked during the last few months in regards to the Red Hill Baptist church but that is all behind me now. I do have the song book in the workings and the money for another 10,000 packets. I also know that I have had men tell me that your letters are to long and I do not read them because of the length. All I know is I get emails from Afghanistan from friends that tell me we have men running through the villages of that country trying to track down our enemy and destroy them before they destroy us. The problem is some of our men do not come home that same way they went over there. If this was the Vietnam war I could not be so fervent about the situation. This is not Vietnam this is ISLAM and if they ever get there way in this country every red blooded preacher that has any preaching in him at all will have to take a stand and defend himself and his church or he will go down in the grave and be forgotten. Right now we have an army that is keeping us safe and most of them are lost and headed to Hell. God has given shown me a way to get the Gospel to them. All I need is some help. Would you please pray about an offering towards the building.

If you feel peace about us having our own space where folks can come and work at "a drop of a hat". Where we would have the space to be more efficient and get things done for our Saviour in more professional way then please send an offering to the office in Zanesville, OH. For those that do not have that address it is listed below. Before you send any type of offering you should call first and make sure the buildings are still available. Yesterday the contractor had 3 of the 8 buildings left. He knows I want one and he has already lowered the price from $8,000.00 down to the $6,000.00 for our mission. I have made it clear to him that I will not go to the bank and borrow the money. If he has a buyer when the 7 are gone he is to go ahead and sell the eighth one.

I would like to thank all those that have called in regards to my wife's knee surgery. The surgeon made it very clear to me that in his words "the surgery was a piece of cake". Everything went very smoothly and he would expect the recovery time to be just as smooth. Today our Lord visited my wife and I would thank all those that have prayed. The surgeon made it clear that she will have physical therapy for about 6 to 8 weeks and he expects her to do very well.

FW: Red Hill Baptist Church

Dear Prayer Partners,

Some of you have asked me in regards to when we will be moving to the Red Hill property in Jesup. Yesterday the pastor of Red Hill called me and told me the men of the church called the deal off. There were a number of concerns in regards to the age of the building and some other issues. I thank you for your prayers that Berean Armed Forces Ministries could have it's own building to work in.

We have found another option. The Savannah school board is in the process of selling some 24' by 60' modular school class rooms that they have used for a few years. I drove to Savannah this morning to minister to the soldiers at Hunter Army Airfield and then drove to the school where these buildings are forsale. Would you please pray in regards to this option. I have had my city building inspector come to my property today here in Jesup and he has given me the approval to sit the modular on my present property where we live. I have 1/2 acre in the city of Jesup and we are approved to place the building on the property. Seeing that I'm in the process of buying the property from Northside Baptist Church the church has to approve of me placing the building on the property. We should have an answer from the men by this Monday night. There is a contractor that has bought all the modular's and is selling them on a first come first serve bases. He is asking $8,000.00 for each unit. This morning I met with the owner and showed him what we have been doing since 9/11 for our troops. He appreciated the packet and reduced the price to $6,000.00 plus he will deliver the building to my property and set it up and tie it down according to the code for the $6,000.00. When I was there this morning to see the building the teachers were in the process of cleaning up the class rooms and moving out of them. The units have two large central air condition units with central heat. The modular that I was in was very comfortable in this Georgia heat.

I'm very much aware that in my last snail mail letter that went out I was asking for help with the song book for the troops that will be printed in August we hope. We have asked for help with the next 10,000 packets that need to be printed. We have collated 79,000 packets and they have all been paid for by churches and individuals that are concerned about the eternal souls of our troops. We have about $1,600.00 that has come in to pay for the printing of the song book. The total on that will be around $4,000.00. We have been ordering material towards the next 10,000 packets that will be collated soon, hopefully in this new building that we believe we need. Would you please pray in regards to a gift for this building. The man has a waiting list of folks that have made verbal commitments for one of the buildings. Money is what always talks in these types of situations. With Red Hill Baptist Church out of the picture now and this man trying to help our mission have the space that we need to store our material and do our collating I'm praying that you would be interested in helping BAFM with the purchase of the building. The square footage that this building will offer me will solve our space problem real quick.

As the founder of this mission I do not go to churches and set up tables in the back of the church auditorium and sale music cd's nor do I sale anything to make money. Judy stays very busy with trying to keep up with the schools and churches with the card program plus write notes to all the schools and churches. She does not have anything to sale that would turnover a few bucks. Since November of 2005 I have been 100% at the mercy of the churches to help with the bills. You all have blessed us in the past and I'm hoping those that are reading this would pray about an offering and would share this information with your pastor. It would be a wonderful blessing to have the space to work and provide space for those in the area that would want to come and work with the mission in many different ways.

There must be some of our partners that were pretty concerned in regards to the email that went out on the 24th in regards to the deacons of Red Hill telling me that I would not be able to use the property because of all the problems they have had with it. Well I left the meeting and figured it was all over. I announced to some of my workers that came out Tuesday night to collate that I was done with Red Hill and I would start looking for another location to store our material and run our mission out of. you all won't believe it but they called me today and will allow me to use the 70 foot by 20 foot social hall that is on the property. We believe this will allow us the space to do our work any time of the day or week and in cases like I'm in right now with Eglin this weekend we could call in laborers from other area churches to get the job done with short notice.

There will be some work that will need to be done on the building to make it all work but it is nothing impossible. I sure appreciate all of you that pray for the mission and did not give up on this one.

This weekend will be very important for our Saviour. This is the first Memorial Day weekend for this particular Wal-Mart. If we have some folks make good comments to store managers it is very possible that we will be invited back for next year and not only next year but the next major weekends. Please keep it in your prayers.

I would like to thank all those that have called me in regards to the building that we were wanting to use at Red Hill Baptist church. The men of the church took time last night with me to explain why the building has sat for 15 years and has not been used. The foundation is slipped and is no longer safe to have services in the building so that is the reason it is being destroyed.

If you would please continue to pray in regards to a location in the area where we could store our material and collate the material at the drop of a hat.

I love you all and sure thank all that are praying for this mission.

Please do not for get to pray for this weekend in Niceville, Fl. Eglin AFB and the Wal Mart and the name of Jesus Christ will be exalted hundreds of times.

Also I know some have asked in regards to Judy's knee surgery. We walked out of the hospital yesterday to a real wake up call. Just the hospital bill for the average knee replacement is $48,000.00. That is if everything goes normal. That is not the doctor nor any of the other guys that I cannot spell there professions. Her knee is shot and must be replaced according to the doctor. Our Lord knows what is up and He knows that she will have to have special attention for 2 to 3 months. Thank you for your prayers.

Would you please pray in regards to our new song book that is in the making for our troops. Our printers in Milford,OH has made it clear to me that it will be around August before they will be able to get to the printing of our song book. I have found another printer that can do the same work and do it now. The cost is 10 cents more per copy and when we are doing 10,000 of them this will make a difference in cost. Would you please pray in regards to what is best for the mission.

Also you know that tonight (Monday) I will be meeting with the deacons of the church where we are trying to buy or lease there building for the purpose of collating and staging our mission work at the bases out of there building. Please pray the Lord's perfect will will be done in direction to where we will continue to work out of.

This coming Saturday and Sunday at the Eglin AFB the Name of the Lord Jesus will be exalted amongst the gods of this nation (Psalm 138:1-2). Please be praying for the laborers that have volunteered in the churches in the area to help with this mission. For you that have ever been in a fight that required a partner it is very wise to know your partner. All I know about our partners is they are Christians and they have volunteered to help. For all of you that have been praying in regards to the Wal-Marts our God is hearing your prayers. This past week I have spent a few days going to all the Wal-Marts in the Eglin AFB area in the area of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. There is five (5) Wal-Marts in the area where our troops do a lot of there shopping. All five will be open to BAFM to allow us the privilege of setting up our tables in front of the Wal Mart like any other charity. Your prayers are keeping doors open so the Gospel message will go out this Memorial Day in the city of Niceville, Fl. There is a brand new Wal Mart and no other charity had signed up for this weekend. The lady in charge of the charities has given me the privileges to set up our tables this weekend. If you would pray there will be thousands of shoppers go through the doors of that Wal-Mart this weekend with most of them being related to the military. Jesus name will be exalted in front of this Wal Mart all weekend. Would you all please pray that we will find laborers that will help at these Wal Marts get the Gospel message out. The door is open we just need laborers to help us go through the doors.

This Monday night would you please pray in regards to the Red Hill Baptist Church property. I will be meeting with the men of this church in regards to them selling the property or leasing it to our mission. I have sent you some pictures of the property and would ask that our Lord's perfect will will be done in regards to the storage of our material and the collating of packets for the troops.

This week we will be preparing the mission at the Wal Mart in Niceville. We have a few families from two different churches that will help with the work there. Please pray the doors will stay open at that Wal Mart and we will be invited back to get the Gospel message out to our troops in that area. This is a door that our Lord has opened, please pray.

Jude has to be at a surgeons office Monday morning to see about surgery on her knee. Please pray for her that our Lord's perfect will will be done in regards to this issue in her life.

I love you all and thank so many of you that pray for the work. This past Friday at Eglin AFB I was in a street intersection where military traffic was moving very good. We had about 75 of our Airmen take a packet. Most of these were officers. About 6 of them were full bird Colonels. These men have given years of there lives to help keeping us safe and free. Hopefully they will take time to read. Please pray God will see to it that His Word will be watered in the hearts of these men and women.

Dear Prayer Partners,

For all those that are writing cards and coloring pictures and sending in finances to get the job done for our troops and our Saviour I'm asking you to please announce in your church tomorrow the need for prayer in regarding the meeting on May 14th. This is the third time I have sent out this request and do not want to be a pain to you. This is not a door that I have knocked on and tried to open. Our God is moving in a very unusual way to get the Gospel message into the hands of some very special men that are helping to protect our freedom's and help keep us safe. I am convinced by the way this is coming about that our God truly wants these men to have a personal contact with a Christian that has the Word of God that knows how to share It. The men that I will be meeting with on the 14th are men that have volunteered to put themselves through another level of physical training that is not required by the military. We are friends with the contractor that has been hired to do the training and he has the liberty to talk with these men in regards to there eternal soul. The trainer is a born again Baptist evangelist that is a very highly decorated Vietnam veteran and very respected as a physical trainer. God has placed the physical trainer in place and He has placed BAFM exactly where He wants us. Again for all those that have partnered in this mission of "pulling" (Jude 22,23) our troops out of Hell we are one in this mission. I covet your prayers for this mission. If this is a success for our Lord there are many other doors that will open inside the military base where we are working.

For all those reading this we agree that know matter how good a soldier is his character and discipline will not get him in to Heaven unless he sees his need to be saved. That will never happen until he comes to realize that he is lost. This mission to these men on the 14th is ordered by God and all I'm asking you to do is pray that I will be what I'm suppose to be to get the job done. Please remember I'm the guy that went out in the street on Oct. 1st of 2001 at Ft. Bragg and started handing out books of John and Romans and Gospel tracts simply because I don't want our troops going to Hell. I have had pastors tell me that anybody can stand on a street and hand out Gospel tracts and the truth is that is right, anybody can stand in a street intersection and hand out Gospel tracts. Standing in the presence of men that are of the most elite of our military that was not in my plan. I will mention this to you also in regards to things that only God can do. I went to buy tags for my truck this week in Jesup, GA. As I paid for the tags I shared a Gospel tract with the lady that waited on me. Immediately she told me that her son is a Marine. That opened a door to talk about her son and she made it clear to me that they are Christians and that her son is an instructor in Quantico Marine Corps University in Virginia. We shared some material with the mother and enough to share with her son who will be in Jesup next week to visit his parents. Who knows what God might do if this one Marine was take Gospel packets to Quantico. I have stood at the main gate of Quantico and was able to share more packets with more Admirals and Generals than I have ever seen in my entire life. It was a great opportunity to share the Word of God with men and women that have given there lives to help protect our churches. Please pray that God's will will be done with the Marine instructor from Quantico Marine Corps University in Virginia.

I count it a privilege to represent you all on the streets, in our schools and churches, at the Wal-Marts and now in a gym with some of the most elite warriors our military has.

Some of you will get a kick out of this. It one of my recent emails that was sent out I explained what the Marine's email address meant the chingchingpow.com. This lady from Ohio emailed me this response kinda funny and might bring a smile to you.

I love you all and thank you for your prayers for our mission.

We did hear from the pastor of the Red Hill Baptist Church in Jesup GA. The deacons need another 2 weeks to think abut what they are going to do with the building. For some that are reading this for the first time. I have found a Southern Baptist church building that has been sitting empty for the last 15 years and I have asked the church if I could have it for storage and collating of our material. This has gone on now for about 5 weeks and now another 2 weeks to get a decision. We have had some folks ask me about where we are at with the building. Still waiting on the "committee."

May 14 I have been invited to be present at a physical fitness program that is designed to take a group of "Special Ops" men to another level of physical endurance. The trainer is a private contractor and the ones that have contracted him to set up the program want me to be there to offer the Gospel packets to those who have volunteered to be part of the program. The man that has been hired as the privarte contractor to train these men in from Michigan. I met him and his wife at one of our meetings will trying to raise support for the mission. They liked what we were doing for the troops and volunteered to me in charge of the progarm. He lost his job in Michigan and through some heart ache he has ended up in Niceville, FL at the doorstep of Eglin AFB and now with a contract to start training the men that have volunteered to go through his special physical training that takes "Special Ops" men and women to another level of physical endurance. I'm sure some of you that know me personally are probably thinking Patrick needs to join his program. Turst me I don't think that will be happening. Last Summer we were invited to be part of the Michigan Guard and we ended up having 2,600 troops that received a Gospel packet. I'm not sure what the Lord is doing with this Summer right now but it sure looks exciting to me.

After seeing what the Navy Seals accomplished for our country and for our Saviour we have a tremendous debt to try to be a blessing to these men. Evidently the Lord believes this because the door that is opening to work with these types of members of the Armed Forces is not something that I have pushed for. This is a door that came to me and I'm sure you all know what I will do with it. Please be praying that the event on May 14 will be one step in to greater doors in the Ft. Walton Beach, Niceville, Valparaiso area of Florida. Our Lord wants these men to have an opportunity to spend eternity with Him and we all certainly understand there is only One way to Heaven. I hope that everybody reading this knows that good men and good soldiers go to Hell if they have never been born again. I covet your prayers for May 14th. It is Friday night about 10:00 pm just arrived home from Eglin AFB Ft. Walton Beach, FL Special prayer request. Saturday morning in Ft. Walton Beach Berean Armed Forces Ministries has a special friend that is a Physical Fitness Trainer that has been contracted by the Armed Forces to do some special physical training for selected men and women on Saturday mornings. This man in the morning will be taking 35 of our packets to his training session to share with the men and women. If this flies it could be an opportunity for our mission to start working with these men in women with the Gospel message. Prayer request #2 is the city of Niceville is where thousands of Air Force folks live. This city has built a brand new Wal Mart and we were there this morning seeking permission to set up our tables at the WalMart. Would you please pray this door will open and open wide for the Gospel message to be shared in front of the WalMart. Every WalMart has different rules about this so please pray we will have plenty of liberty and we will need a family that will take charge of the mission in Niceville. Niceville is next to Eglin AFB Florida

Prayer #3 Saturday we will be hearing about the building we want to move to. We have shared this request with you in regards to the Red Hill Baptist Church in Jesup GA that has a building that has been sitting empty for 15 years. I have asked the church to give BAFM the property for the purpose of storing our material and doing our collating. Please pray the Lord's will will be done.

Dear Prayer Partners,

It is 3 am here in Jesup and most of us on this side of the pond will be able to have our worship services today in safety and freedom. Right now it is 11 am in Afghanistan and it is a different story for our men and women in the Armed Forces. I have asked for special prayer for GunneySgt Soileau and his men in Afghanistan. Would you please pray this morning for him and his men for safety and for those of his men that are not Christians that God will save them. For those of his men that are saved men that God's will will done in there lives and many of the lost will come to Christ through there testimonies.

I hope your still reading this. This past week I have had some personal friends express to me that they have not been getting any of my general emails. If you have read this one it would be encouraging if you would just press the reply button and tell me that we are getting through.

Another prayer request.

This past week we have been contacted by the leadership of the Michigan Guard in regards to troop deployment to the training grounds in MI. Would you please pray about the logistics of where to be this Summer. Last Summer it was 2600 men and women that received the Gospel message in Michigan and that could happen again this Summer. Please pray with the fuel prices the way they are I need to be exactly where it would be best for the Lord and best for the mission. Please pray in regards to contacts at Ft. Drum in up state New York. It is very possible that we could have meetings in that area this Summer if the pastors of that area will open there doors to me and help with the expenses of the trip. We have the material and God has given us the streets we just need the churches that will help keep it funded.

SPECIAL PRAYER

I have mentioned in some of my past letters for the need of space to do our collating and for the storage of our material. I have no idea if this prayer request has gotten through to my supporters. We have found a building in Jesup, GA that is an old Southern Baptist Church building that has sat empty for the last 15 years. The church had grown and needed more space so built themselves a beautiful building that they have been in for the last 15 years. The old one is used to store a few pieces of lumber and that is about it. I approached them two weeks ago in regards to the property and my desire to use it for our mission. This is the week that I will meet with the men of the church to share my burden with them and need for more space. Would you please pray that the Lord's will will be done in regards to this matter. Our present situation is that when we are in need of material that material has to be taken out of a storage building loaded into a trailer then taken to the church fellowship hall unloaded into the fellowship hall. We collate as long as the folks will help me and then all the material has to be repacked into the boxes and loaded into the trailer and back to the storage building. Our war can be fought in a much more efficient way and I'm asking you to please pray that God's perfect will will be done in the matter of our own building where the material can be organized left out and folks work at there own timing. It can be done and will be done at my Lord's perfect timing.

Last week I mentioned that we have a new man than might come on board with us in the matter of the street work. A very young Christian yet very motivated to get the Gospel out to his community. Would you please pray that this man will take a few of the bases in his area to free me to hit ones in other states. The street work is not for every body and I understand that so please pray he will not be discouraged and will get on board with BAFM and take part in the "pulling" of our troops out of Hell (Jude 22,23).

Please pray in regards to our song book for the troops, "Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs for the U.S. Military Forces". The printers have made it clear to me that they are very busy and our work could take weeks to get to. I know I'm not the only missionary in the world trying to get something done for our Saviour so please pray that we will have this material at God's perfect timing. I wanted to get in the hands of our troops 4 years ago and now it has been completed by the grafic designer and just needs to be printed.PLEASE PRAY WE CAN HAVE IT SOON.

For you all that read this before Thursday night would you please pray for our mission tonight. I hope to have about 20 to 25 folks come out tonight to help with the collating of another 2,000 packets. Just pray that it will be a sweet time of fellowship and all will get along well. While you are praying would you please pray that we will find the space that is needed so our mission will not waste time. We are still moving material from one building to another building by truck and my weak back. We believe our Lord would give us our own building where we could just leave our material out and when material is needed we would have a team of folks that would get the job done. It actually could be a very simple operation with the proper space and could be very efficient.

FOR ALL THOSE THAT PRAY FOR ME ON A REGULAR BASES. I WANT TO THANK YOU. THIS PAST WEEK I SPENT 3 DAYS AND NIGHTS BE PREACHED TO AT THE WELCH CREEK CAMP MEETING IN WALTERBORO, S.C. Special prayer request. Pastor Don Lee of Calvary Baptist Church in Citronella, AL lost everything he owns in the storms last week that went through his city. Would you please pray for this dear brother and his family. This pastor has been behind this mission 100% the very first time it was presented to him. His school has played a major roll in encouraging other churches to get involved with the crafts that have been being placed in the packets. Please pray for them and pray that the insurance that they have on the property will come through greater than they could imagine.

Would you please pray for our meeting this Sunday. I'm driving from Jesup,Ga. to Kings Mountain, NC to teach a 40 minute Sunday School class. We will not be teaching during the church hour and do not have a meeting for SN. If your reading this and you have a church in the King's Mountain area and would like to know how God called a man out of a factory job six years ago to go to the streets of our military bases and has now shared over 1,250,000 Gospel Seeds with out troops I would count it a privilege to come and share this with your church. "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries." Brother Patrick is no Apostle Paul but there was a door open on 9/11 to all Christians to take advantage of a horrible situation in America. God opened my eyes to it and my heart and sent me to Ft. Bragg with the "Good News". It is still the "Good News" and the "great door and effectual" is still open.

I will be leaving the King's Mountain area on Sunday to be in a meeting Monday thru Wed and then Thursday night we will be collating I hope another 2,000 packets in Jesup for the troops.

Many of you do not get the real news coming out of Afghanistan in regards to our men and the beating they are taking. My GySgt that is in Afghanistan writes to me that some of the fighting right now is just as intense as it was back in 2004. Please pray for our troops and pray for their souls. Would you please pray in regards to our next 10,000 packets that we are trying to get paid for. The Wal-Marts and the streets demand material and we have an "effectual" door for our Saviour and for the soldiers. Please pray about a offering to help pay for the material.

Two reasons for this email.

#1. If you read this on Tuesday night or before Wednesday night mid-week service would you please make a prayer to our Lord in regards to material that is needed for the mission. There will be a land letter go out real soon in regards to the material that is being ordered right now for the next 10,000 packets for the troops. Hopefully we will be getting our new song book real soon. For another 10,000 packets and 10,000 song books we will need to raise around $20,000.00. A good friend in Bartlett, OH has already given $1,500.00 towards the song book. If your wondering what you might do with your tax refund would you consider sharing it with our troops through helping pay for more gospel literature for them.

I have been sharing with you all some unusual needs here lately. This is one that you are not aware of. Next week we will be collating another 1,500 packets for the troops. To do this all the material has to be loaded in a truck and carried to the church building and then unloaded at the church building set up at the fellowship hall then after all the collating is complete the left over's have to be brought back to the storage building and unloaded again. It would be a wonderful blessing to have all the material in the same building where I'm collating and just leave the tables all set up for the next time we collate. Plus if it could all be done in one building folks could come when I'm not in town and build the packets at there own timing. If you reading this tonight would you please pray that if it be the Lord's will for B.A.F.M. to have its own building that our Lord will show me and make it very clear what to do about the situation.

The Marine that we have asked you to pray for in our last couple of news letters has made it very clear to me that some of the fighting that is going on is at the same intensity as it was back in 2004. With the kind of thing that is happening in Libya and the news info at the bottom of this email please help us keep the material going to our men and women who are helping to protect this nation. The Gospel message is the only hope for the world. We all know that things are going to wax worse and worse but that is no reason to sit back and let folks go to Hell. "We are facing a diplomatic-political tsunami that the majority of the public is unaware of and that will peak in September." - Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak

The Palestinian Authority is planning to cash in on the wave of unrest and uncertainty sweeping the Middle East, working behind the scenes to build support for a UN resolution welcoming the State of Palestine as a member whose territory includes all of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.

That includes land that Israel has controlled for forty years, including some Israel had intended to keep in any two-state solution scenario. Especially Jerusalem.

In the event that such a resolution was to pass, Israel would automatically be an occupying force on land belonging to a fellow UN member.

Ehud Barak called the situation "very dangerous" and said that "paralysis, rhetoric and inaction" will only serve to deepen Israel's international isolation.

Unfortunately for Israel, paralysis, rhetoric and inaction when it comes to America's allies are the Obama administration's strong suits.

When strong, decisive leadership was demanded during Iran's failed revolution in 2009, Obama was on the golf course. For six long days, Iran teetered, waiting for some word from the United States.

When Obama finally broke his silence to condemn the Iranian government's reaction to the demonstrations, his criticism was tempered by his reference to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as "President" Ahmadinejad and to Ayatollah Ali Khameni as "Supreme Leader."

The demonstrators heard what they needed to hear. Obama recognized Ahamadinejad's presidency as legitimate while acknowledging Khameni as Iran's 'Supreme Leader'.

Since the catalyst for the revolt was Khameni's legitimization of Ahmadinejad's election, Obama's 'condemnation' cut the legs out from under the revolution. Obama justified his inaction by saying he "didn't want to meddle" in Iran's internal affairs.

When Hosni Mubarak's reign was imperiled, Obama lost no time meddling in Egypt's internal affairs, calling for his ouster with no regard for how it might impact Israel.

He lost even less time intervening militarily in Libya, devoid of either legal justification or Congressional support.

But the so-called "Arab Spring" isn't the catalyst for backing the Israelis into a corner. It is the justification.

One wonders why Obama the great peacemaker would lead the US headlong into an unplanned, ill-conceived and ultimately useless military excursion against, of all people, his pastor's old friend Muammar Ghadaffi?

Especially without the advice and consent of the Congress? And without any clear threat to any US interests?And without any endgame strategy -- or even and endgame?

I am starting to suspect that the only purpose for the attack on Libya is to establish a precedent.

"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."(Zechariah 12:3)

Obama had plenty of time to go to the Congress for authorization. He probably would have gotten it, too. But he didn't, even though bypassing Congress violated the Constitution and could even justify articles of impeachment.

But Obama didn't even try. Instead, he worked the Arab League as if it was the US Senate and the UN Security Council as if it was the Congress.

Armed only with international authorizations, he proceeded to commit US forces to combat in what the War Powers Act defines as an illegal war.

One can want Ghadaffi removed, Ghadaffi can deserve to be removed, and it might be extremely satisfying for him to be removed, but none of those reasons make the war legal. And Obama knows it, which is why nobody in the administration will call it a war.

Again, we have this problem of discerning whether Obama is a brilliant strategist playing six moves ahead of everyone else – or if he is the most incompetent buffoon ever trusted with the keys to the nuclear football.

In September, 2009 the Palestinian Prime Minister announced his government would seek statehood within two years. Last September, President Obama said that he expected to have a framework for an independent Palestinian state within one year.

And this September, the Palestinian Authority says it is prepared to take his membership before the UN General Assembly. Thanks to the Islamic and Arab majorities at the UN, it is expected to pass the General Assembly easily.

Membership is determined by the General Assembly and not by the Security Council. In the GA there are no vetoes. In the GA, Washington's voice is no louder than that of Micronesia's.

What would a unilateral declaration of statehood mean to Israel? It would mean that Israel would then be in daily violation of the rights of a legal UN member state with all the legal and diplomatic consequences thereunto appertaining.

Using the intervention in Libya as our guide, it means that the UN and Arab League would be perfectly justified in ordering no-fly and no-go zones in Israel to defend Palestinian 'patriots' seeking to repatriate their own land.

Using that same template, President Obama could order the United States forces to intervene militarily against Israel, without either the consultation or approval of the Congress. If Obama wants to duck questions, he can always order the assault and then go on vacation for a couple of weeks.

In Ha'aretz last week, Ari Shavit compared the risks posed to Israel in 2011 to the biggest military setback Israel ever faced, the 1973 war. The Yom Kippur War was the closest Israel had ever come to being annihilated by the Arab enemy.

He wrote that "2011 is going to be a diplomatic 1973," because a Palestinian state will be recognized internationally.

"Every military base in the West Bank will be contravening the sovereignty of an independent U.N. member state." He added, "A diplomatic siege from without and a civil uprising from within will grip Israel in a stranglehold."

Mikhail Jubran, writing for the Palestinian Chronicle, called 2011 "The Year of Living Dangerously."

We have had an excellent week this week on the streets from Savannah to Jacksonville. This is Friday morning and one of those mornings that I will remember for a while. Went out on the streets at the Jax Naval base at 5 a.m. and the Lord went with me.I try to always invite him but this morning I remember praying and asking the Lord to keep working in the Naval base. I want to thank all those who are reading this and you prayed to. It was about 6 am and we had already talked with about 100 members of our Armed Forces and here comes the sheriff and this time he comes from my back side which has never happened. Usually when the police come I'm kinda low key and "Yes Sir Yes Sir" type of a guy. This morning this man pulled his car like right up to me like almost running over my toes, he was serious about getting my attention. First thing out of his mouth is we are getting all kinds of phone calls about you and the base commander wants you to move on. (Just one thought about Americans that want to take a man's freedom away that all he is doing is saying good morning and offering them a free Bible. I wonder what they are going to think when the school system in this nation forces there children to learn the Koran, interesting thought). The first thing out of my mouth is, "Good morning sir and our churches have put together this material about Jesus Christ and He loves you. Sir in Afghanistan we have groups that are burning our Bible and no one seems to say much about the Bible being burned but every time someone looks crossed eyed at a Muslim they start whinnying and our Govt. cow towels to them. I'm sick of it and we want our men to have the Truth about who Jesus is. Well for you all reading this please keep praying for the police and our safety. Now its the police officers turn. Sir I have a protocol that I have to go through with you and listen to me. So I listened to his protocol and then he started. The Jacksonville police officer has just returned from the nation of Holland. The Muslims are getting away with murder over there and no one can seem to stop them. I had already brought up the subject of Muslims and this govt. cow toweling to them and looks at me and says, These Americans have no idea what is happening to them when it comes to Islam. Well I started breathing real good and my blood pressure numbers started dropping Amen and Amen. He took the packet and looked at me after the protocol and said "Sir I'm a born again Christian and I'm sick of what is going on in this nation. God bless you and keep up the good work. We ended up having about 130 folks in the naval base that took the packet.

I'm sure you must understand what is going on when it comes to complaints from the people. I'm being as kind as I can and those that tell what they thing of me I'm still the nice guy. This world in general HATES the Bible and the Devil hates me and hates any Christian that tries to get the Words of God to a lost and dying world. Would you continue to pray about the streets and doors to open at the Wal Marts.

If you did not receive the email in regards to the song book being printed it is now at the printers and we will soon be paying for them. The overall cost to have 10,000 of them printed will be $4,000.00 for the first printing. I hope you will pray and ask the Lord to impress you with a financial gift that you could give towards this project.

May the Lord richly bless you all and thanks to all those who have been praying. When it was all said and done this morning we now have another 2,211 "little preachers" preaching the Gospel message in side the Jax Naval Base. Praise the Lord.

Dear Fellow Laborers and Prayer Partners with BAFM,

A good friend wrote me to day asking me if I was alright and he was willing to come where I'm at if I needed help. This brother has made it clear to me that he has a file in his computer just for me. He reads every thing we write and saves them. Kinda of encouraging. He had not heard anything from me for a while and figured I was sick or dead and he needed to know which one.

Many of you are aware that we have a double wide trailer that we have been trying to sell in Lattimore, NC. A month ago we were approached by a family that was very interested seeing all we wanted is someone to take over the payments and get it out of my name as soon as possible. This family needed a place to live and had moved to the area to go to college. Well we agreed on a time when they could move in and a week later they came to me with an emergency and needed to get in like now so all the work that I had three more weeks to get in order had to be done like right now. So for the last three weeks I have been trying to get concrete poured in a 50' footer that once it was dug the rains came and filled it with rain. So now it is a matter of waiting for the mud to dry up so concrete can be poured and a wall that needs to be built underneath the trailer to help support it better. We let the folks have our 28 foot by 12 foot steel building for storage to go along with the trailer. Problem it was full of years of teaching material and books and "stuff" that folks keep over the years. It has been very busy and I appreciate your prayers that the folks will be able to get there ducks in order with the finances so the house can be taken out of our name and be history.

We need special prayer from the churches. After 10 years of street work and dozens of bases that I have been to we have many directions that I can go this summer. For you all that pray for the National Guard in Michigan the management of the PX has invited me back to minister on the sidewalk of the PX during this summer. Last summer we had 2,600 of our troops that received a Gospel packet in front of the PX. The prayer request is please pray we will be in the right place at the right time this summer. I have been told that as of right now May will be very busy and June, July and August could be very slow. If I go for the May traffic I will be stuck in Michigan until September when I have a missions conference with 14 other churches. September will be very busy and that is very good for our Saviour. If Michigan was loaded with Military bases then there would be no question as what to do. To travel to Michigan for the month of May to work with the Michigan Guard and then turn around and head a direction to where we will find some military action will be very costly. Then driving back to Michigan for the Missions conference in September will be very difficult.

Where we live in Jesup, GA getting to the bases is very simple. Before I drove up to Lattimore I worked the streets at Parris Island and the Army base in Savannah. In one morning we had about 240 of our troops receive the Gospel packets. Now that I'm back in Georgia yesterday I was back in the streets in Savannah and had 160 Soldiers receive a Gospel packet. The Lord willing I will be back on the streets in the morning traffic at another gate in Savannah. The Jax Naval Base is 150 miles south and I can be at that base in about 2 and 1/2 hours. It is nothing unusual to have 200 or so folks at that base receive the Gospel packets. I can be at Ft. Binning in about 4 hours to work the streets there. Many options here in this state. Please pray that we will do what is right for our Saviour. The invitation to work with the Michigan Guard opens the door for the Gospel to go all across the state of Michigan in a very short amount of time. It is a tremendous opportunity and I appreciate your prayers that I will be in the right place where we can be used greatly for our Saviour.

Would you please pray in regards to an offering for the new song book. The graphic designer has finished his roll and has sent it to the printers to be printed. This will be a dream come true for me. I remember when God gave me the idea to put Gospel tracts in a pocket folder. I remember very clearly the entire circumstance when God spoke to me and showed me exactly what He wanted me to do about getting more Gospel material in to the hands of a soldier at one time. In Savannah Georgia the "Thank You for our FREEDOM" card was born. I had never seen such a card as we created to help get young people and churches involved in giving thanks to a soldier for there freedom. It has been very interesting to see what folks write on the cards. There are many that treat that card as there own personal ministry to our Saviour and to the soldier. There will be many rewards to those who have been "pulling" on the hearts of our soldiers trying to get them out of Hell. I still remember when David Tucker sent me some coloring pictures and asked me if we could use them. He is the principal at White Plains Baptist School in Mt. Airy, NC They are still sending coloring pictures. The idea of getting folks involved in coloring for our Saviour and the soldiers has swept our churches and we literally have about 10,000 of them waiting to be collated into the next 10,000 packets that we will do I hope this Spring. Now the song book for the Troops. I tried four years ago to write one and just had no idea what to do. Then 2 years ago I did get help from a printer in Shelby but some how got off the track and for got who was doing what with the song book. The last 5 to 6 months I had professional help that I was able to stay focused on and get it started again and this time it will be finished to the glory of our Saviour. It will be very difficult to get it in the hands of those that read this email because I do not know all the folks that this mail ends up with. The first copy of this printing with the expense of be the first ones printed will be about $4,000.00 for 10,000 of them. This is probably not the best time to mention that we need to collate another 10,000 packets. To get the best price on some of the material you have to order large quantities. We might not get all 10,000 collated this Spring but I do need to order the material to have it on hand so we can have it for this Summer. The last time we had an order like this we called it "Project 10,000". I guess I could call it the same thing all I know is we will need another 10,000 packets collated this Summer. This will make 89,000 packets that have been collated and ready to share with our troops. Once we have reached the 89,000th packet we will have 1,513,000 "little preachers" loaded and ready to share with the troops. It can be done and by God's grace it will be done for our Saviour. Yesterday in the streets at Hunter Army Airfield there was 160 of our troops that heard the name Jesus Christ in a holy way that He loves you and please take some time to read these papers that are being shared with you. The name of Jesus Christ is being exalted in the streets and in front of these Wal Marts where we share the packets.

I do have a special prayer request that I will ask you to pray for. GySgt Soileau is a Marine that God used to help start this mission over 7 years ago. This Marine sent a $2,200.00 check from Bagdad the week that I had made my first order of the packet covers. The first order was $2,800.00 and I did not have the $2,800.00 to pay the printer. God used a Marine to pay that first printing bill and since then every time there has been a big printing bill this brother has sent large sums of money to help with the printing bills. He is now in Afghanistan and I'm asking you to please put him on your prayer list and pray for GySgt Gabriel Soileau and his Marines that are with him. By the way 7 years ago I did not know anything about email and letting folks know what my needs were. It was just me and the Lord. It is still just me and the Lord but we try and let the churches get in on the blessing of helping to "pull" (Jude 22,23) our troops out of Hell. Jesus will not forget your work of love and will have a reward for each that has been involved.

I count it a privilege to have so many fellowlabourers backing me up in this mission. There is no way that we could do what we are going with the Gospel tracts if it was not for you all that are reading this and sharing your finances to keep it all going. Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you so much for your prayers for our mission to Orlando and Tampa. Both schools have got on board with the mission of "pulling" (Jude 22,23) troops out of Hell. One of the teachers at Harvest Baptist in Orlando wanted 15 of our Bible lessons to get her Sunday School class involved in doing the lessons that we share with our troops. This dear teacher also made it clear to me that we have brought a mission to her church and she wants her children to learn how to minister to the troops. What a blessing to have a teacher know what we are lookin for in the schools, "ministers of the reconciliation" (II Cor. 5:18). We are still lookin for folks that will have "compassion" in there writings and coloring (Jude 22,23). Thank you for your prayers. God has blessed and in both of the new schools we have found folks that want to help.

Our Lord also opened another door for us to contact another pastor in Atlanta that spent 18 years in the Army and now is pastoring in Atlanta and a new church in Michigan.

The subject title, "Panhandlers in Tampa". I love to pull into a military city and see panhandlers in the streets, AMEN and AMEN. Please pray for the streets outside Macdill AFB in Tampa. Yes Tampa allows panhandlers on the streets. I am told that this is a major operations base with troops from all the branches of the Armed Forces. The streets could be very profitable for our Saviour. Please pray for the police officers that they will allow me the freedom to work on the streets. Also pray for safety. Pray for the hearts of our troops to be open and would you please pray I will find a church that we can work with that will understand my burden. We need a place in the Macdill area that we can sat up our camp for a few weeks and go to work on the streets. When I ask for prayer in regards to setting up the trailer I'm hoping to find a church where we can park on church property without having to pay the fees that you have to pay at a camp site. Please pray.

We have more material being shipped to a Chaplain in Afghanistan this Monday. Please pray the material will arrive to the Chaplain and men will be saved.

Our 60 page song book for the troops will be going to the printers in a week or so. Pray this will be a weapon that will be used in a mighty way to bring Christian soldiers closer to the Lord and a weapon that Christian soldiers will be able to use to bring lost soldiers to our Saviour. Please pray what you could do to help with the financing of this part of the mission. All I'm asking our readers to do is pray and ask God what you could do to help with the finances of the song book. He will let you know what needs to be done and how much to help with.

I want to thank each of you for helping to support this mission. I hope this forward from this Army Special Forces Soldier will be a blessing to each of you.

I also thank each for praying for the meetings in Orlando on Sunday and the school this morning. The Sunday night service had a visiting Congressman from the area and his family. Never know who the Lord will have in a service to hear what we are doing with the troops. We did recruit the school this morning to help and after the service was sent to another church in the area that might be interested in our mission.

Please pray for the school meeting in Tampa at 9am on Wednesday and then the Wednesday night service in Sanford and then back to Tampa for a Thursday night service. Some where in all this we need to see what the streets look like at Macdill AFB in Tampa.

Thank you so much for your prayers. We love you all and thank you for support us with your finances and all the writing of cards and all the coloring pictures that have been coming in. In regards to the coloring and writing of cards for some reason we are still getting many cards and coloring pictures that have no names on them. I would like to thank all those who have been praying for the sale of our property in shelby. April 1st we have a family that has promised us they will be moving in with the intent of buying the property as soon as all there ducks are in order. Please pray for the ducks to be in order as soon as possible. There are houses sitting in our neighborhood for over a year that have not moved sitting empty. I have a great debt to all you all that love me and love what we are doing. The Lord has sent these folks and I believe it is in direct answer to your prayers, THANK YOU>

Would you please pray for the meeting this Sunday Night at Harvest Baptist Church downtown Orlando, FL. The pastor has been there 31 years and has a Christian school that we will be speaking in on Monday morning at 8 am. Then we need your prayers for Wed. and Thur. in Tampa, FL. We will be at a new school and church for the two days. Please pray our Lord will touch the hearts of the folks at West Gate Baptist Church in Tampa and will see the great opportunity we have with the Armed Forces. Now the big prayer request. Macdill AFB is in Tampa. According to the map there is one way in and one way out of that base. This could be a great opportunity to get the packets into the hands of the troops that will be driving into the base in the morning traffic. PLEASE pray for the police officers in the area that they will allow me liberty to share the packets one car at a time. Would you please print this request off and share it with your church this Sunday.

We have asked for prayer for the PX and commissaries in Ft. Stewart in Hinesville, GA. Please pray we will get the permission from the ones in charge to set up our tables there so the local churches could work the tables and share the packets with local church tracts inside the packets. It is a way to get the Gospel into the hands of troops that just might be looking for a local church to attend.

Thank you for your prayers for this mission. With the house off my back we will be freed to get back to the streets and we praise the Lord for that.
